saxitoxin wrote:As mods have expressed reluctance to deal with players who use foul language in-chat, I have found a new way that is effective. Recently I was subject to abuse during an in-game chat so simply started having cyber-sex with the offending player.
Because chat abuse appears to be the result of a shaky sense of sexual identity and the need to "assert" the abusers manhood in a "safe" way that they can't do in real life, and, because there are no language-usage rules in chat, this appears to be an option for those of us who are subjected to in-game chat abuse.
Just wanted to throw that out there as an option, gang. Thanks!

Please note - as long as abusive verbiage is permitted in chat I reserve the right to reply with abusive verbiage if I am first subjected to it. In this case I was the subject of abusive verbiage and responded in-kind.
If I choose not to reply to "f*ck you, you are a complete fucking moron" with a similar slur, but, instead, with amorous suggestions, that is my choice.
If a new rule is developed and enforced that states no abusive language or name calling is permitted in chat then I will, of course, bring myself into full compliance.
Until then I have a right to defend myself in a manner of my choosing, provided it is in compliance with the rules which - as many people have noted - do not prohibit any kind of language.
Some people may be offended by having their name calling responded to with cyber-sexing but I'm often offended by name-calling and told to get over it so, along those lines: get over it! We all have different types of tolerances and different push-buttons. If someone tries to push my buttons I'll push back in the way I think is most effective - provided it is in compliance with the rules - which is via unwanted and uninvited cybering.
Thanks, gang!

Clearly, my calling you a liar was accurate.

Reported again for flaming.
Woodruff, I'm not going to deal with the insane ramblings of a mere schoolteacher. Either yours or Woodsies.

And yet, you continue to deal with my statements, so clearly they're not insane ramblings.
