i started playing for fun... then wanted to get to major rank. when i achieved that, i stated playing for medals and tournies. at least, thats what im telling myself. truth is, im playing it to get frustrated. there is no other viable reason for playing and screaming at your keyboard...

But back to the topic. My real reason for playing is to try and play as interesting games as I can. More points = better opponents. Better opponents = better games...usually.

Im not good at chess, so the only way I can win a game is with a dice game which involves no strategy and only luck like this one.

That and its fun to play and meet good peeps.

Probably, but let me look up supererogatory just to make sure.

Ok. Yes. Most posts do indeed 1. go beyond the requirements of duty. and are 2. greater than that required or needed; superfluous.

Not mine though.

I just wasnt sure if it meant that, or referred to how superheros, look down on the rest of society, who have not been given special talents or super abilities.
