Yes, I hear in California, they had to cut back 100% of welfare, 100% of health assistance, and 100% tuition assistance. OH, and of course, cheese burgers.comic boy wrote:Yep if things carry on like this you may have to cut down on cheeseburgers, new guns and church donations.........crisis crisis crisis
Nah, I'm going to buy a new gun tomorrow. It's a very small an concealable 22 revolver with five shots. It's about 2 by four inches, very nice.comic boy wrote:Yep if things carry on like this you may have to cut down on cheeseburgers, new guns and church donations.........crisis crisis crisis

then you havent looked. it is well known to a large majority of americans, that california, the whole state, is going BANKRUPT. so, forgive me that i dont agree that the worlds 8th largest economy declaring bankruptcy "isn't a crisis" and since 100% of welfare has been cut in California, I will guarantee you there is at least 1 person starving, and would bet a small fortune there are 1,000's starving. No financial crisis for you and I dont see too much mass starvation in California
I have a model 60 .357 magnum snubby that I usually carry, but for certain things (traveling out of state, abroad, anywhere where I would have to sneak it around) I would like a smaller gun.Phatscotty wrote:22 aint gonna do nothing. 38 almost the same sizeGabonX wrote:Nah, I'm going to buy a new gun tomorrow. Luvs comics premise that anything short of "mass starvation" does not not qualify as a crisis. LOL PS comic, Obama has said we were in a CRISIS about 2.2 million times before this happened in Cali. you calling Obama a liar?comic boy wrote:ExactlyGabonX wrote:Nah, I'm going to buy a new gun tomorrow. I read them in the opposite order.jay_a2j wrote:Just finished Common Sense by Glen Beck. A must read for any red blooded American. The first step is to register INDEPENDENT, as both parties are destroying this country. In '08 I stopped voting for "the lesser of two evils" because its STILL evil! I have been a registered Republican my whole adult life, no more. I am changing my party affiliation to Independent. These low life's have to be stopped! By this I mean Democrats and Republicans!
Time to start another one of Glen's books, An Inconvenient Book.

I find your statement highly un-american. in that it is not in American's nature culturally to "settle for less" to paraphrase your "still more affluent...." statement. AS for what I am thankful, I am thankful I have a voice and an opinion and a sense of duty to make sure the welfare-state of liberal influence does not bring us to your third world mentality. The proof is in your own morbid statement. This economic condition getting "worse" brings us CLOSER to this third world scenario, and does not bring us CLOSER to staying a first rate power. Who is gonna borrow us money to finance the debt with such wreckless abondon financially? that is classic live for todayer, completely unaware of an investment in tomorrow.comic boy wrote:My dear fat friend
Everything is so black and white to you ( no pun intended) , there is such a thing as scale you realise. Even if the current economic situation in the USA were to get twice as bad, and last twice as long, the average citizen would still be vastly more affluent than those who were unfortunate enough to be born in the Third World. Stop whining and thank your lucky stars that it is only by chance that you have been able to stuff your face all your life rather than watch your children die of malnutrition.

That , amongst other things , explains why one country prospers rather than another but it has zero influence on where any particular person is born. I realise that it was pure luck that I was conceived in Britain rather than , for example, sub Saharan Africa and for that I am grateful.GabonX wrote:Funny

I stand corrected. It was all 'luck'.

well that fact that I am who I am is becuase I was born here....is given. I know it;s a gift. the reasons for our downturn you pointed out is one of many, MANY reasons, therefore extremely narrow. I can feel your seathing jealousy in your words. what you refer to as constant whinings, well that may be what you guys do on the other side of the pond. WE use free speech to stop legislation here if we don't like it, and we do stop shit we don't like. jealous again huh? you just dont understand freedom I guess, so we are playing the same game here in different cities. you are so full of hate, but i will take your statements against fat people as a compliement, CUZ HERE WE ARE FREE TO EAT HOWEVER MUCH OF WHATEVER THE f*ck WE WANT! The fat moron however seems to think it was his God given right to be born in an afluent society, seems to think that he lives in a magical chosen land and that milk and honey should always flow.
The fact is that the USA is struggling because too many of its people have become complacent, they have spent far more than they earn and its now biting them in the arse.
The USA is not alone in this respect, the UK also has a horrendous level of personal debt but note that we are not flooding the forums with constant whinges about how terrible and unfair everything is. Blame the politicians all you like but the average American consumer has much to answer for also ,if your GDP had increased by as much as your waistlines the last 20 years you would all be laughing. Does pointing this out make me anti American, I think not, rather it makes me anti stupidity which seems to be the bedrock supporting fatboys frequent rants.
