Number Hold Nine

Post by KingBurger »

Image

Hold the black spots on a grayscale number for that bonus. Lines connecting spots show paths of troop attacks. The white circles are spots that connect to another number. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Actually... I like this, and you've got a half decent start.

Couple things:
If you have all the black circles on a number, that's the bonus? So if I have the 2 black circles on "8" you get 8 reinforcements?
Think about using curved line in your connections in places like the top of the 2 it will give a better look to the connections and kind of outline the number itself.

I think you've got a lot of potential you have some space to expand if you use more of the allotted canvas size. Spread out a little bit allow for some more territories and territory connections. And take a look at the Guidelines for the Drafting room to help you.

Hello!

Welcome to the Foundry ;-)

You should find some useful information to develope your map in the following threads: If you still have questions after browsing those topics, feel free to ask any specific questions in the Foundry Tips & Discussions subforum.

About your map,
although I am convinced that this is not a bad idea there's something that i can't understand....
I think that only numbers from 1 to 5 give you a bonus (if you hold all the black spots on that number), and numbers from 6 to 8 don't give a bonus and nine isn't playable. Right?
when I read the title of the map I thought that a player should conquer/hold any combination of numbers that added result nine or something like that ....
Why Number Hold Nine? :?
Why some numbers don't give a bonus?

Looking forward your next update ;)

[Moved]

This map has been moved into the Ideas subforum, as it does not meet the (underlined) criteria for a Working Draft:
Drafting Room Guidelines

To be considered a Working Draft a project must be more than just an idea; a Draft should have a clear thematic focus, a plan for how the gameplay will work, and a basic image which should include:
  • 1. Territory Labels - temporary names or numbers will suffice, and are always open to change.
    2. Borders/Paths/Impassables - it should be made clear where territories do/do not connect.
    3. Bonus Areas - where combinations/groups of territories will award a bonus, this should be indicated on the map.
    4. Legend - speculative bonus values and explanations of any attack rules or gameplay features.
Draft images should not be larger than 630x600px (small image) or 840x800px (large image).

Answer: No, Its called 9 but only 1-5 give a bonus. 6-9 are spots to get around the map, hence the color scheme.
