Men against boys... Arsenal are an amazing team but it was men against boys. We all need to grow a couple of inches and put on a couple of pounds of solid muscle so we can stop being bullied physically.

Chelsea gave us a masterclass on how to use body strength in football, that man Drogba was solid as a rock and I'm a big fan of his. Nice to see that the Anelka/Drogba combination is finally working too...

FYI I do not support a Scottish team even though I live in Aberdeen and have worked at Aberdeen Football Club for 4 years.

Cheers, JB ;)

you're right Rangers did deserve to lose, but to say they are a joke and a disgrace to Scottish football is a bit too much. how can they be a joke when they are champions and top of the league at the moment.

now you are going to go on about the violence in europe over the last few years.

They are a disgrace to Scottish Football. They get the chance to represent Scotland in the Champions League and what happens...? An absolute shambles. Seriously, the way they played in the Champions League was a disgrace. Scottish football is in deep trouble. As for the violence, I have one thing to say - Violence is wrong and it occurs the world over, not just in football. Hopefully all clubs will do there best to stop violence and people getting hurt.

You know what really annoys me though? It's the whole "OLD FIRM SHOULD GO TO ENGLAND!" capmaign. I mean seriously, which nerdy minded geek thought that idea up. Hell, why don't we get our best ( ) basketball teams play in the NBA? Why not? Apart from the embarrassing defeats every week (nothing new there) we've got nothing to lose! Sorry, haha, I have a huge monkey on my back.

Get off Andy...

This boy is 16. Looks well into his 20's. Built like a tank. His hero is Drogba and the Premiership sides are after him... I wonder which one he would pick...

Man City 3 Arsenal 0 =D> :D =D> :D

Tevez, Wright-Phillips, Weiss.

what a game, a great atmosphere. even the Arsenal fans were in great voice(well at least up until the last 15 minutes). they sang Theirry Henry to Given. :D

1st half couple of chances at both ends. the young Gunners kept possesion well in the 1st half, but in the 2nd it was a different story. too many wild tackles, hence the 6 bookings.

3 cracking goals, nice little dribble by Tevez and curled it into the top corner. then a bullet from SWP. brilliant run by Bellamy, how he got throught the 2 Arsenal player i'll never know and then he picked out the young Vladamir Weiss at the back post to tap it in. =D> =D> =D>

what made the night even better, the rain stayed off and it was quite mild.

first semi-final in 28 years and it's against Man Ure home and away.

Good question. Honestly I'd hope he shows faith and sticks with the young lads, he usually just has a few of the seniors on the bench just in case, but we'll have to wait and see.
Good luck against Chelsea tomorrow too, I know it'd annoy you to do us any kind of favour but there we go...

West Ham 0-4 United
Quality result, they've often proved to be our bogey team but dealt with them today.

Blackburn 0-0 Liverpool

4 points clear of 2nd place
10 point clear of the play offs
Coming straight back up

Arsenal game was quality to watch, with some comedy moments in there as well. I want to see Milner's goal on MotD, sounds like an outrageous goal. About to watch the City-Chelsea match, I think it could well be one of the best matches of the season if both teams come out playing.

Sweetest result of the weekend... Man City 2 Chelsea 1 :D

And a nice win for us gunners playing Arshavin as the lone striker. We will definately need to invest in some new players in January.

Quirk of the weekend (so far) - either Man Utd's back 4, Eboue's goaline clearance, or Sidwells assist !

Falkirk 1 Rangers 3 :D

Boyd 2, Miller.

Man City 2 Chelsea 1 :D :D

Adebayor, Tevez.

what a game, Lampard misses a pen and we could of had more if Tevez passed to SWP instead of shooting. then he tried to pass to SWP when Adebayor was the better option on the left. don't how serious the injuries to Bridge and Richards are. it says Bridge out for a couple of weeks.

Wolfsburg 1-3 United

I'm astonished. We were supposed to be a makeshift team liable to fall apart under slightest pressure, instead we beat the German champions by quite an easy-looking margin...
The score doesn't reflect the game though to be honest, Owen took his goals well to score a lovely hat-trick but the score really does flatter us! Wolfsburg were all over us but couldn't finish, whereas we were a bit crap (especially that Wellbeck, he's sh!t) and every time we broke (which wasn't that often) we invariably stuck it in the back of the net.
I've never felt sorry for German football teams before!

I wouldn't feel to sorry for them, you might get Bayern or Stuttgart in the next round.

I follow La Liga and Serie A when I have the time. Can't really say I've been watching much of Valencia but I do like them as a team, some really good players.
