So soon you will be able to play Risk online, official though Hasbro and EA. Does this interest you? Could it possible be better than CC? Could the community be as large and empassioned. Will they have more than one map?

I'm a bit worried what will happen to CC... if Hasbro is planning on making their own online risk, they might consider CC a competition that needs to be eliminated...

Just making the classic map look different with different cities might not cut it. The gameplay in CC is still the same as in Risk, they might have a case for copyright infringement based on that alone...

this is a worry, but not a serious concern, as we were here first. If it went to court, they should not be allowed to win.

Do you really expect every one of CC members to be willing to show up in court?

Also, the basic gameplay is same. We still have dice, cards and territories that are attacked by using dice in the same way as in Risk, even though we call the dice "intensity cubes" and the cards "spoils". If Hasbro really wants to close CC down they'll have a clear case...

What if hasbro approaches to lackattack or whoever the owner is to buy the site?
Hasbro is destroying Risk with ridiculous boards and lame gameplay... They have almost 20 different themed boards though I only like the LOTR edition and the classic Risk...
