Question: if a user's "internet goes down" can they still be listed as being "online" when you click on their profile? I just lost a No Spoils 2 player Speed game http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=6289418 where my opponent and I were in a stalemate, but he did have the slight upperhand on territories - he had a 6 army bonus to my 4, but he was still not getting enough armies to break through the neutral barrier to get to my stockpile and I managed to maintain a smaller presence in the main area of the map to thwart his progress.
So he then misses two consecutive turns (throughout his missed turns, I kept checking his profile and he always had the "Online" tag across the top corner). He is within 10 seconds of missing his third consecutive turn and he starts the turn, makes no attacks, and deploys 10 deferred troops.
When I called him on what I considered cheap tactics to get a bonus in a no spoils game where I kept him from getting any territorial bonuses, he tells me his Internet was down. I commented on how coincidental it was that it came back up just SECONDS before he was about to get booted for too many missed turns. My question here is: if a player's Internet goes down, can their status still show up as ONLINE?
This is a really cheap way to win a game that is otherwise a stalemate.
