What the heck Becky AKA "Head chearleader." On page 1 you have EMPIRE winning the tournament and this time you say we lose in the first round?!?!Beckytheblondie wrote:The reason there are few upsets predicted is that you are playing 40 games each round. If each team played each other 40 times in the college basketball 64-team NCAA tournament, you would almost always NEVER have upsets. The top teams would win EVERY TIME.
This could be interesting if each team only played 10 or, hell, 3 games each! NOW THAT WOULD BE FUN TO WATCH!!!
In that case:
First Round
1 THOTA beats 16 Left4Dead
9 Black Sheep Squadron beats 8 Nemesis
12 Outlaws and Highwaymen beats 5 Legends of War
4 Immortal Assassins beats 13 Agents of Chaos
14 Mythology beats 3 EMPIRE
6 Knights of the Round Table beats 11 Generation 1
7 Imperial Dragooons beats 10 The Legion
15 Brethren of the Fat Mermaid beats 2 TOFU
Quarters
1 THOTA beats 9 Black Sheep Squadron
12 Outlaws and Highwaymen beats 4 Immortal Assassins
6 Knights of the Round Table beats 14 Mythology
7 Imperial Dragooons beats 15 Brethren of the Fat Mermaid
Semis
12 Outlaws and Highwaymen beats 1 THOTA
7 Imperial Dragooons beats 6 Knights of the Round Table
Finals
12 Outlaws and Highwaymen beats 7 Imperial Dragooooons
Now THIS I would like to see.Beckytheblondie wrote:The reason there are few upsets predicted is that you are playing 40 games each round. I know this is the wrong thread, but how do the play offs work? Do we play low or do we play a clan from 1A?jpcloet wrote:I thought TSM would win the league, however, if KORT keeps it up, they'll be on a roll entering the playoffs.

The Play-offs (championship rounds) in the league consist of 17 games: 4 Dubs, 2 Trips, 2 Quads to be chosen by either side, just as in the regular season. And the British Isles Dubs thrown in as a 17th game to avoid ties.waseemalim wrote:As I understand it jp, technically there can be no winners of the League right? I mean the championship round just has ONE doubles game of British Isles -- and tbh that can be anybody's game.
Not the right thread for this but that makes sense. So whoever wins in the semis advances and pits 4-2-2 + brit isles. Cool, I thought it was just going to be 1 brit isles game.ahunda wrote:The Play-offs (championship rounds) in the league consist of 17 games: 4 Dubs, 2 Trips, 2 Quads to be chosen by either side, just as in the regular season. Not the right thread for this, but how do the semi's work, same as finals? Also, who plays who?waseemalim wrote:Not the right thread for this but that makes sense.
