Wii are doing a thing at the moment which gives you 500 free wii points for helping someone connect their wii to the internet (it also gives the person you helped connect 500 points too).
As I have no friends boohoo Im just wondering if theres anyone out their in Europe who has connected their wii to the net in the last month or are going to do so soon cause if we do this we both get 500 points.
Then you can help others do the same thing and get more points (help 10 people and you can download all the NES games for free, help 20 people and you can download all the NES, SNES and N64 games for free).
Worth a shot I thought, here what you do if your connected.
On the main Wii menu, go to "Wii Shop Channel" (download any automatic updates if necessary).
Click on "Connection Ambassador Promotion" icon.
Click on "Person Who Was Helped" icon.
Enter my Wii number (0409 9372 2718 8794) and following the instructions. It will ask you some questions about the person who helped you. (Age = 20 -29, and some other questions I cant remember).
Then to get your number.
On the main Wii menu, click on the "Wii message board" icon (bottom right corner).
Click on "Create Message" icon (bottom left corner).
Click on "Address Book" and your Wii console number should appear.
Stick your wii number in here and I can put it into my wii and then we get our points woohoo.
