I myself am fruit for knives. I've had a few hundred but i tend to lose them. Right now i have a modified K-bar, a Benchmade bali-song and a Puma switchblade. I sharpen knives and tools professionally - i do the knives by hand with diamond stones and i use a water cooled wheel for the tools.dangreco wrote:Hey y'all, I'm new here and I love Risk and online versions of it. Just curious, any other Knife Knuts out there? Fixed or folding, big or small, I love 'em all! My favorites have to be the Benchmade 710 and just about anything from Bark River, like the Rising Wolf or custom bowies.
Do you mean that you cut the blade and sharpened it??? I've seen a few like that from WWII and Vietnam... but you can make them legal to carry?b.k. barunt wrote:Right now i have a modified K-bar,

Benchmade and Spideco (sp?) carry the best pocket knives all around. Other reputable companies are Kershaw, Puma and of course Cutco. Cutco makes the best blades but you can't buy them without a salesman coming to your house.Juan_Bottom wrote:Good.
I live in the Midwest, everyone and their grandmother carries a knife. I myself usually burn a knife out or lose it in a year or more though. I only have a few knives to my name since I'm not a knife nutter though. I own A Kreiger Stiletto, A $20 pocket knife (normal brand, prolly tomahawk or something), and a utility single-edged boot knife. I have had the stiletto and the boot knife for forever since I rarely carry them. But anyway, since you're here, I'd like to ask help to get a final pocketknife. I don't want to pay $20 for a knife that will last a year anymore, so what's a good company/blade to go to? My requirements are that it is legal to carry (length wise), folding, and has a solid connection to the handle. Color really isn't all that important but I don't want to carry something silly like a knife shaped like a spider or something. I'm also not all that sold on Damascus blades either, but maybe I'm wrong?
