the principle is simple, there are two leagues, freestyle and standard, you have to win in one, and the winners play a series of 1 of each (freestyle and standard) and who ever wins both in one round wins the tournament.
how each league works:
each league has 10 players who will play in 45 8-man freestyle/standard games (so every possible combination of players exists)
for each game won points are awarded
1st: 5
2nd: 3
3rd: 1
who ever has the most points after the tournament is up is the winner of that league

I thiught about that, and the freestyle player would have an advantage, but not a huge one. In a 1v1, a good sequential player should be able to win a freestyle game at least like 40% of the time

but id rather have it as 50-50 not 60-40
well that's not gonna work then, the freestyle player would have a bigger advantage in the freestyle game than the seq player would in the seq game

oh because he would have an advantage in the freestyle vs standard final battle, good call!
what if i did different maps?
Well the different maps would replaces the different settings. So instead of freestyle vs standard, you would do Classic vs USA. Or you could do 8 different maps, and the winner of each league would advances to the final league which would have 8 players. I think it would definitely work.
Well but maybe the free (as is 24h) done by an average player could make it like sequential so somehow would be 50-50. Maybe the best option is to do it the best of 5/7/9... in case of tie free or seq could be choose randomly.
