George Bush barely, BARELY practiced conservatism. Conservatives for the most part rejected Bush and his phony compassionate conservatism. But what did you think conservatives were going to do? Vote fore John Kerry? The democrats deserve just as much blame for not being able to beat Bush.

Time to question who/whatever is putting these falsehoods in your head.

A Republican president would've done the same action: MASSIVE BAILOUTS. Maybe not as much, sure, but at least a trillion, maybe two. Why? Business interests, the government is full of it, and they're willing to help their friends. Regardless of one's partisanship, it's still the same monster.
