Yup. It's the reason I've never tried them myself. I might in the future but gotta sort out stuff first.Timminz wrote: It's very important to be in a good place, both physically, and mentally.

Limit your consumption. (1g)
Refrain from taking more, if you are not getting the desired affect.
Eat lightly, hydrate your adventurous ass.
Ensure your safety before hand, be with who you trust.
Pick another day if you feel overly stressed or depressed or anxious.

Awesome, cheers, yeah I am actually going in 20 days, I fucked up my timings a little there - but quite excited!Snorri1234 wrote:cool, I think there's some festival thingie here at that time but I'm not entirely sure. still, this city has some awesome places to go so hit me up if you want any tips on what to do.nagerous wrote:Yes, for two nights.Snorri1234 wrote:Seriously?nagerous wrote:I'm going Amsterdam in two weeks time..

Try De Dampkring. It's the best coffee shop here from tourist perspective since it's in the centre and you're not getting shafted (like a lot of other shops). Hill street blues is also rather good if you're in the red light district.nagerous wrote:Awesome, cheers, yeah I am actually going in 20 days, I fucked up my timings a little there - but quite excited!Snorri1234 wrote:cool, I think there's some festival thingie here at that time but I'm not entirely sure. still, this city has some awesome places to go so hit me up if you want any tips on what to do.nagerous wrote:Yes, for two nights.Snorri1234 wrote:Seriously?nagerous wrote:I'm going Amsterdam in two weeks time..
Definitely going to try a space cake at one of the local coffee shops.
They may upset your stomach and I wouldn't recommend making a habit of them. I know too many people that have lost it by making psychedelics a regular occurrence.nietzsche wrote:I've never tried any drug, not even marijuana. Coffee, cigarettes, beer of course.
But lately I've been thinking of trying mushrooms. I have already told a friend who used to take care of his brother while he was on trance to procure some for me. He says he never tried them, because of the effects.
What can you guys tell me about it? Is it recommendable? Is it really necessary to have someone to watch you?
So really that's just a tough question..American cage fighter 'rips out still-beating heart of training partner after fearing he was possessed by the devil'
A mixed martial arts fighter who allegedly gouged out another man's heart and eyes after drinking mushroom tea will stand trial in Northern California on a murder charge, the Times-Standard in Eureka, Calif., reported Wednesday.
Jarrod Wyatt, 26, also faces charges of aggravated mayhem and torture stemming from the grisly March killing of his 21-year-old friend Taylor Powell, after a Del Norte County Superior Court judge ruled Wednesday there was sufficient evidence to put the case before a jury.
Arrested: Jarrod Wyatt was allegedly found standing naked over his dead friend's body in a room bathed in blood
Wyatt, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, is due to reappear in court Friday for arraignment.
Powell was killed at a home in the coastal town of Requa, about 40 miles south of the Oregon board, early on March 21. He bled to death after his heart was removed from his body while still alive, according to his death certificate.
Deputies, responding to a 911 call, found Wyatt at the scene.
Another man had raised the alarm after allegedly seeing him naked and dripping with blood, standing over the mutilated body.
The witness told officials Wyatt had earlier been acting strangely after drinking “some kind of mushroom tea.”
Wyatt's MMA career is still in its earlier stages. According to The Daily Triplicate in Crescent City, Calif., he had won his first pro bout in October.

Awshit. You didn't actually do that did you? Damn. I can't think of a worse experience to have on shrooms. I'll have to do a thread on fire ants - most people in this country have never experienced them - i never did until i came to Louisiana.mibi wrote:some of the best times i've had were on mushrooms.
whatever you do, don't lay down in a fire ant hill to watch the clouds tho.
I'm sure it was just a coincidence..nagerous wrote:That's just a scare story about some mental psychotic cage fighter, nothing to do with what he took.

I've read they are not addictive, and even repulsive because of the taste.
Any thought are welcome.
