Order of Players

In one of my tournaments, I have 4 players playing 6 games, and I'm wondering how I should choose the order of players. I believe there is a big advantage for when a player takes his turn, in terms of spoils and initial attacking. Would the best and most fair way to choose the order be by choosing randomly, or should the best player go first, and the weakest player go last?

You can't pick who goes first in a game, only their colors/order.

i usually just send the game no and password to the players. as i also feel the first player in the list usually gets the dice
