Its called bumping!
Like in auto-racing, sometimes a driver will nip another competitor and cause the vehicle to spin out from the rear an lose control and position, and then the clipper advances to finish higher in the race, and more money. thats auto-racing. the way this tourney is set up, is kind of like that. Its happened to me and I caught on and have done it myself -- to advance to the next level. THats what pink did to me. Pink couldnt win the race himself so he set me up to be taken out by red, then red ran it. since pink didnt have anything of value to red to run, he assured himself to advance to next level knowing red wouldnt take him until last.

I have also been the beneficiary of anther player having set-up 'bumped' another. Its kind of whats pretty neat and unique about this tourney. Winning for CC points is boring. Trying to make it to final match is more -- challenging. In my opinion.
GREAT RESPONSE!As Extraterrestrial pointed out, this will be common in the tourney. Somebody did that to me in the first two races and I already did that as well
In order to advance to Q3, pink setup the game in his favor, and there is no need to post any alliance, since is very clear the way the game was played.
CC points doesnt mean anything in this kind of tourney, its more important for the drivers to advance as far as possible on any Qualifying game, and that also assure good points for the team.
Some players will not understand this kind of moves if they are not Auto-Racing fans!
