As I understand it jp, technically there can be no winners of the League right? I mean the championship round just has ONE doubles game of British Isles -- and tbh that can be anybody's game.

The Play-offs (championship rounds) in the league consist of 17 games: 4 Dubs, 2 Trips, 2 Quads to be chosen by either side, just as in the regular season. And the British Isles Dubs thrown in as a 17th game to avoid ties.

Not the right thread for this but that makes sense. So whoever wins in the semis advances and pits 4-2-2 + brit isles. Cool, I thought it was just going to be 1 brit isles game.

if we go by the current standings. TSM vs KORT and IA vs LOW. Kort and LOW gets to pick 9 games each while TSM and IA picks 8 games.

So, just to make sure I get this right, the final still is 9-4-4, but the last doubles game is on british. Not all 17 games on british.

i think Ruben Cassar picked it sometimes, but since he isn´t active atm, you can go on and substitute British Isles by Waterloo

OK, was just looking at the match-ups and here's something that I was thinking. Brethren and EE have some pretty good players. It's possible that whichever one of them wins, could upset Tofu. Not saying its likely, but I think that they have enough talent that with a little luck, they could possibly do it.

In addition to ID beating Legion, he had Empire beating KoRT.

Overall, it seems like not a lot of upsets occurred. The major one seems to be Legion beating ID, as no one predicted that. Still, it was only 7v10, according to the pre-cup rankings.

Other upsets included: BSS/Nemesis (8v9), Immortal Assassins/LoW (4v5), and Empire/KoRT (3v6). Killing was right on all three accounts... he only missed ID/Legion (7v10).
