Reptile and Chard, 2 friends of mine from a loooong time ago, have created a new clan, Legends of War (LOW). I wished them the best of luck and told them that maybe we could be allies. They asked what I had in mind.

What do you all think? My idea was that if our 2 clans united.... nothing could oppose us. Since we're both new, no one would be expecting us at all, and we would take everyone by surprise and topple even THOTA. Any thoughts?

lol. LOW is one of the longest running clans in CC. They are no where near new. Beyond that, what the hell is an alliance? You can't double team someone in a challenge. Best you could hope for is that they mentor you on how to run a clan or teach you how to play. You need to familiarize yourself with the clan world. Start small. You wouldn't stand a chance against any top 15 clan just yet. You have a decent roster going, but take a look at any established clan, and you will find it's mediocre at best. Team play takes time to get going. Start small, keep up the enthusiasm, but be realistic.

Oh, and for the record, THOTA has battled LOW twice. Once in 2007 or 2008 I believe. At the time, THOTA was #1, LOW was #2. They also are just wrapping up a challenge in the Conqueror's Cup. THOTA won both. My opinion, LOW is a top 3 clan right now.

Sure thing. By the way, perhaps your leaders should drop their other clan that they are still officially a part of. Good luck. Master Chief seems to be great at rallying people together, so hopefully he does the bulk of the work here and the clan can develop into a good one. JefJef has never stayed in one place for long. Doesn't take long for people to tire of him. Hopefully he won't take the whole thing down with him. Thanks for the wall post too, JefJef. I appreciate kind wishes and good sound advice.

Really. I have been a long time standing member of the Brethren. The ONLY clan I had ever been in. We are in it until the current challenge is over. Which should be just 1 or 2 more days. See thats the kind of LEADERS we are. We complete our obligations. The Brethren did not tire of us... Thats actually kinda funny that you even alluded to that.

So you go spread your crap somewhere else and You go TROLL someone elses thread. Go call your own players mediocre. You are NOT welcome here.

Sounds like a challenge to me... personally, I don't care who I sink my teeth into first, blood is blood... But Empire is starting to sound like a nice tasty morsel as a starter course for KOA.

Then we would all have to mock Empire for farming. Why not start with another new clan? Then once you guys climb into the Top 20, in about a year or so, perhaps a clan of Empire's caliber will pay you some attention. Until then, good luck.

FYI: I am 10 wins - 5 losses in team games vs Space Cowboy teams. I also have a nice win % vs ljex teams... mmmmmmm. Yes. I believe challenge 1 will be vs Empire.

I guess I caused quite a stir in the gaming community. MY BAD. I posted in the LOW recruitment area giving my apology for any misunderstanding and confusion. I wanted to say in here as well that I'm sorry for any problems my posts may have caused. I honestly was doing it with the clan's best interest in mind, and it obviously backfired.

I also wanted to point out that I have trouble staying in place more than jefjef, and I fully defend his ability to kick ass and take names. He seems to be a great leader, if not a little bit hot headed.

I will do my best to continue to "rally" others to our cause, and not bring disgrace upon KOA.

jefjef, and megaswoman do everything by the book. They have handled the formation of this new clan in the right way. They are fulfilling their obligations to the pirates, before starting a clan war with their new clan. Both of them have aquited themselves with honour(well as much honour as a pirate could have without losing self respect and the killing instinct) in the Brethren, and as stated a few pages ago, myself and all the brethren wish them well, and consider ourselves lucky(not blessed, that is for bible bashers..... pirates and religion <shudders>) to have a long association with both players. When they told me of their new clan I sent a pm to them and some of their regular partners within the pirates, saying I would understand if they followed jj and megas. So whilst sad to lose foreverman and bruinMBA, am happy that KOA has two more strong and proven team players when they start. Good luck to Bruin and foreverman in their new clan.

Might I suggest if you don't have your first clan war sorted already, maybe take on lub and co at Empire if they have the stones? You might want to read the fine print, strongly suggest leaving freestyle off the option list!
