well then this is the tournament for you (i know it sounds cheesy but i wasn't sure what else to write.) i need 32 people, 8 teams for a quadruples tournement. pick a map (out of that 8 ) and tell me what it is and i will asgin you to that team. everyone will play everyone then the two teams that win the most games will play in the final.
the settings will be

sequntail

Good luck with your first tournament. I will tell you though that those settings will make it really hard to find tournament teams as those are a crapshoot. You may need to change some of them.

the freestyle is a big turn off for many (me included)

personally i can't stand automatic and i love freestyle so i reckon i'll keep them.

Fair enough but you'll want to start spending some time recruiting players on your own because I can almost guarantee you'll never get 32 people to sign up for quads play in the allotted time with those settings unless you send them the link. Also, a doodle quads game on freestyle would come down to whichever team waited to drop troops last and was right there to play first.
If you still want those settings, then i would possibly recommend that you switch to a dubs tourney rather than quads. Your call in the end though, just trying to help you get your first tourney up and running.
