How many games are you playing in?

Now with premium membership and unlimited games how many games are you playing at the same time?

I've got 9 open right now which I have decided is a little much it takes me forever to get through them all first thing in the morning.

I'm new here, and am in one game where I found a high ranking member that was really slowing the game down. Just have to wait and wait and he doesn't take a turn.

I checked his profile and found that he was currently playing 20 or more games at once. I quick check on recent games found him to be missing turns on 6 games. I looked no further, and will make sure that I am not involved in a game this person is playing.

This person has a high score, and I think someone who is playing in that manner should be penalized initially in point rankings, and without reconciliation should be penalized in play. Maybe if this type of person were restricted to certain numbers of games, they would actually PLAY them.

Players that continually miss turns slow the game down and also effect the outcomes. Replaced by a computer playing moderately, the games would not degenerate to the point where some players easily acquire continents just because a few losers can't keep track of their games.

My hat is off to you, though, Moz, for at least playing your games.

Oh...., and to answer your question, I am currently playing my first 4 games simultaniously.

Is it only because I've recently joined that I can only play 4 games? How or when does this increase? It's the perfect filler for downtime at work

You have to be a member to have more then 4 games

Patroclus, I assume you mean me...sorry 'bout that, I had a bit of a sudden limiting of computer access and couldnt play for 28 hours, it was only 28 hours...I have realized I may be playing a few too many games though

I've played upwards of 40 at once. I'm a college student so I've got all kinds of time. I think I have the most games played on this site. Not the best score as of now but I've gotten a lot better. So once I get on a tear I'll rise in the ranks.

Currently playing 59, usually play 40-70, still at 100% attendance after 14K+ games. Figure on any given day 10-15 are ready to be played. Some games at various stages can be played very quickly (10-20 seconds). Some take serious thought.

Find a number and type that works for you. Then have fun.

72 right now, been as high as 160, but trying to get close to 30-40...

I know "someone" that was at 400 games recently

36 active, 36 waiting, typically 40-60, but been under 40 for a while now, usually 20-30 as of late

When I got back to the game after my long vacation, I was in 100 games in the first week. I kept that up for a few weeks, now I usually sit around 40-50, depending on the number of regular and auto tournaments.
