Why do you get so long to deploy troops?

Hello,

Once you start to deploy your troops why do you get 24 hours--seems awfully long?

Isn't it 1hr time limit for most other things, such as taking your turn, and reinforcing?

Edit: Nvm, seems they do only get 1hr, although my time clock showed roughly 23hrs.

It looks like you've already answered your question---but once you start your turn, you have 1 hour to complete it in a standard/freestyle game. But you have 24 hours to take your turn during the period which---it is your turn!
