Travel By Rail!
This one's for all you active quads rail fans out there... wait a second... there aren't a whole lot of people who fit that description, are there?
8 teams playing 7 rounds in a round robin format.
In each round, you will face a different team on the following four maps:
Rail Africa, Rail Australia, Rail Europe, and Rail USA.
You will be playing four maps at a time over 7 rounds, which means you'll play 28 games overall (4*7=28... you're welcome)
You will be playing on slightly different settings over the course of 7 rounds, although some repeat; see below for details.
Round 1: No Spoils, Chained, No Fog
Round 2: Escalating, Adjacent, Foggy
Round 3: No Spoils, Chained, Foggy
Round 4: Escalating, Chained, No Fog
Round 5: No Spoils, Adjacent, Foggy
Round 6: Escalating, Chained, Foggy
Round 7: No Spoils, Adjacent No Fog
If 2 teams are tied at the end of of the tournament, we will have a Tiebreaker!
1 game on each of the 4 maps with Escalating, Unlimited, Foggy
For the 5th game, we will use random.org to decide which of the 4 maps we use.
Settings for 5th game: Esc, Adjacent, No Fog
If more than 2 teams are tied we're fucked. Another Round Robin? Or one team gets bye?
