Woodruff wrote:I've already covered that in this thread. So with that in mind, perhaps something you should be working on in school is your ability to follow a discussion. That might be useful to your future. Perhaps working on your reading comprehension skills, based on your posts in this thread...that could be useful. From what I've seen of your spelling here, perhaps you could work on that...that's certainly a skill that could be useful to your future. And finally, how about you just learn how to learn most effectively - an invaluable skill that will affect everything you do in life and one which you clearly have not mastered in any way.caymanmew wrote:ok then tell me what else there is to school?Woodruff wrote:No..."getting good marks" and "learning" do not necessarily go hand-in-hand. In fact, sometimes they have nothing at all to do with one another. I'm not saying they don't go together in your case, because I can't know that...but that you believe there is "nothing else to school" leads me to believe that you're not, in fact, actually learning.caymanmew wrote:no getting good marks is everything if i get good marks then i am learning and giving myself options for the future ...there nothing else to schoolWoodruff wrote:
"Getting the marks" is one of the least important aspects of high school.
"Giving yourself options for the future" I'll agree to, simply because the educational system is basically set up in that manner.

LIKE!QoH wrote:Dude, I'm a sophomore, and i don't have a girlfriendmyet. I know some 8th grades, and they are like "so cool cause they have a girlfriend". Then they are like "yeah, we love each other so much... We should get married when we grow up!"
Uh... Have fun with that.
There isn't a really point to dating until you can drive, since it's really awkward to get your parents to drive you places.
Trust me. Middle school kids aren't mature enough to have boyfriends/girlfriends. Especially the girls. Giggly girls are too annoying.
Anyway, i digress. Basically i agree with all the older people who are saying that middle school couples are pointless.

Girls are far, far, far more mature than boys of a similar age. It's really not even close.QoH wrote:Trust me. Middle school kids aren't mature enough to have boyfriends/girlfriends. Especially the girls. Giggly girls are too annoying.
But they can be potentially more annoying. I do agree though, guys are incredibly immature, but thats what makes things so much fun.Woodruff wrote:Girls are far, far, far more mature than boys of a similar age. Well, girls are relatively more mature than guys year per year.Army of GOD wrote:Maturity is relativemaasman wrote:But they can be potentially more annoying. 40kguy, a bloody nose is not a good example of maturity. It lies more along the lines of penis jokes.

you would want to see man on man action.mpjh wrote:lol -- you two should date each other.

It's subjective. I say the average girl matures at the same rate the average boy matures atmaasman wrote:Well, girls are relatively more mature than guys year per year.Army of GOD wrote:Maturity is relativemaasman wrote:But they can be potentially more annoying.
