I don't believe I said anything about you getting hit in the nose. However, you specifically stated "get hit in the face". I'm pretty sure your nose is the largest protuberance on your face. Ergo, it does make sense that someone who easily gets bloody noses that they can't even stand up in class should not be taking part in that activity.

THAT is your definition of "more mature"? Good Lord.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Learn how to quote. My reading comprehension skills are fine...however, your inability to communicate with the written word above the 4th grade level does seem to be a problem.

Taking into account the large masses, no...it's not particularly subjective, really. Taking into account only individuals, well sure...of course it's subjective. But generally speaking, it's really not even close. Girls are typically much more mature than boys.

I suppose definitions may differ...but whether girls mature much more quickly than boys is not. It's widely recognized.

Puberty isn't a measure of maturity. Its just how your body develops. You could have the biggest dick at age 14 and still not be mature. Actually, you would most definitely not be the most mature. :|

Also, "dates" to a football game/ b-ball games aren't dates. They are where you hang out with friends. A real date is where you go out to eat, maybe just hang out with your significant other, or whatnot, not go hang out with 20 other people. That ain't a date.

I'll keep an eye on this thread, see what other crazy shit comes up. 8-)

I've generally heard that research indicates that girls physically mature much more quickly than boys, but I've never read anything confirming that either one matures faster than the other mentally.

Yeah I think it depends like girls can't handle blood as well as guys or at least that's what happens at my school. But girls have more control about sex jokes

handling blood and stuff does not have to do with maturity

Heh, you must live in the city/suburbia. Something tells me you have never had to say, gut a deer, or take care of a 'coon living in your barn. Last one is worse cause you aren't allowed to just shoot them out of season, you have to smash them with a shovel.

If you're in the country, then I don't think anyone would notice a dead coon from your barn that was shot.

No, but gunshots within city limits are frowned upon, we have to dead with about a dozen coons getting into the grain a year that much gunfire might raise questions... I don't live in the total sticks, I can't hunt on my own land.
