Seeing as 40k guy seems one of these guys that post a lot elsewhere but forgets this because he's a 4 year old on crack, I'll go with him.

Unvote Vote 40k
hesa twelv yer old pleas repset taht.

Anyway, I think there are 4? or 3? votes on 40k now. Why? Besides him being on crack? :P

If he is voted right now, then whoever has voted him will be suspect next. However, not voting him makes everyone else guilty if he comes up scum....

No, not really. It's day 1 and I usually like to end day 1 with some information where we could look back, if needed. I wanted things to get more serious, but this is pretty much exactly what I've wanted to avoid - a quick, mindless lynch. Deadline would have forced that, but now we are. I don't mind pressuring and seeing where it will lead us, but lynching him without even letting him speak is madness and extremely scummy.
But... It was so artistically done.

Well I'm OK with giving him through today, but he is in several games, and he should be posting. If he doesn't, then he needs to be prodded, replaced, or lynched.

I agree, but this is different. One is a quick lynch and replacement is something completely different.

If he doesn't post by Friday he will be replaced. I am not going to prod him, if he has forgotten about this already I have no desire to prod him the rest of the game.

Unvote Vote 40k

I am very much happy to push someone who's planning on taking the back seat to a claim. The game is currently going nowhere, we need to make something happen, and I don't want to let submariners get away with it.

Dude, you've put him rather close to lynch when the mod had said that if needed, he will replace. Your vote was totally unnecessary... Same with your reaction.

Honestly, I don't feel like standing around until Friday so that he can be replaced...

When things like that happen, games stall very easily, which is one of the main reasons I quit playing. Faster day and night cycles are needed... At least that way kills will be recorded and data found from them. I don't like having to wait weeks between day and night and then having to reread the whole damn thread to see. This is supposed to be fun, not arduous...

I don't see what Clive did as scummy, or necessary to begin to bandwagon him...

Hell, kill ME if you guys want. At least that lets there be something to go on the following day and doesn't drag out the game.

No, but you've created a BW... He was in no danger as of then, but what I really disliked was the intention of yours. Things sometimes turn hectic really fast.

As far as your vote goes, the only reason you have my vote is that there's nothing better out there and that I don't have anyone else to put my vote on. You're the first one a bit more serious and until something else will come up, I'll leave it here.

Even if nobody speed hammers, putting somebody at L-1 for not having shown up is a bit overagressive. Pretty much every additional vote on a player ought to require even more rationale for voting the person. I definitely don't like bw'ing you here, and I don't think that's happening, but I'm I'm happy with giving 40kguy until Friday to speak up.

Commander, you think that the first person who's trying to make something happen in dead game is mafia?

It was L-3, if I'm not mistaken.

Where have I said that? The main reason I didn't like it is that the host has already stated that he will either appear or will be replaced, so I honestly don't see any reason to do what you did. If he's off and away, putting him under bigger pressure won't work whereas if a replacement comes in, we give him a fresh start, because 40k hasn't do anything, but not respond.

Dude the wagon was already started since long, and IMO in this kind of games with a fair bit of inactives that could make the game like shit it is better to just lynch someone who will not participate and is a complete noob anyway. The fact you guys defend him could bring a pretty good surprise at the end of the day, so statistics are also for this lynch. I completely agree with Nark there, I do miss the fast paced games that didn't need 2 freaking weeks to conclude a day, and this game was off a very very bad start. Get it done now, make real cases later.

I guess we like a bit different games then, because I usually try to get the best possibly lynch before moving on instead of just breezing through. Each to his own.

I think we all agree on that, but Day 1 is exempt from that rule, because nothing has happened that anything can be drawn from.
