You need an arrow to show that (like Middle Earth/Mt Doom). Looking at the map I would not know you could attack from green continent to the red. Of course you could switch it the other way around and have the red going to green.

Take some time to think about what you want there. It's already a good map and deserves time on it to make it really great.

I really don't like the mountains.. I really don't know why, I just don't like them.

Also, the arrows are abit big aren't they? Especially for E & W Xiang.

It looks good though, but I don't see why you need a purple and blue continent with only 3 countries each. Can't you merge them or something? I'm sorry if this has already been discussed but yeah..

The coat of arms, I don't think it suits with the brown background. It looks like it's coming out of the land, which might be what it's meant to look like, but I don't think it suits.

if you can't say why, i can't do anything about it

i personaly like them that big, if more people want to have them smaller i make them smaller

why merge them? i like them...

that was meant to look like but i can make it look other

I think they look too flat, I think that's it.

I like the Impassable borders legend. Don't like the picture of the coat of arms of china.

I think there should be a sea route instead of a bridge to Taiwan.

The bonus legend looks better 2 OOO (all three O), instead of OOO = 2. It's more consistent with the rest of the bonus legend.

Nice improvements. But I still think there's some work to do.

While the mountains are a lot better, I think they could be better again. I think the approach you have got is right, the top-down perspective works because it is consistent with the rest of the map. If you can maybe look for some ideas on Google or something for a better way to represent them though?

I'm not a fan of the arrows. Maybe smaller and a strogner colour?

I like what you've done with the rivers and sea, but it still looks as though the rivers fall into the sea. Perhaps lose the shadow between sea and land and replace it with a lighter blue instead?

So, from the entire Lanzhou region, you can only attack 1 territory, Shanxi?

Wisse....it appears to be getting there -starting to look good.

I am a big China fan and have been studying China for years.

* I have to ask why the top river - presumably the Yellow River does not detour up near the Great Wall as it does on most official maps, and also why it joins the Yangtze River. The yellow river from my research ends somewhere in the vicinity of north west Sichuan but does not join the Yangtze which ends out near Xinjiang.
* Also the orange colour for Henan and Shandong does translate well into the Legend - the legend for Jinan assuming I am reading it correctly, looks more like pink.
* I think the territories bordering the Yangtze River with all those bridges are most advantaged in comparison to the north territories above the Yellow River with no bridges.
* And where is Hong Kong? Has this been excluded for some reason? Or is it not an official province?

Heh, I think I'm done trying to get you to change this map, clearly you and I have drastically different ideas about what makes for good gameplay. It doesn't really effect me any if a map I'll never play gets made, so knock yourself out. :)

*i tried to make them as good as possible without going trough countrys, and it did go this way, and i did join them for gameplay. you seen to know exactly wich rivers i did choose ;)
*those bridges are just because you otherwise split up the bonuses wich i don't like
*it is a offical province the same as shanghai and beijing, but they were to tiny so the are now kapitals and if you hold them all you get 2 bonus

Kewl...understand...I feel the rivers would be better unjoined, giving another attack route between those territories

Good work...otherwisse!!!! :D

Legend is a bit light, darken the names so we can actually see them.
I do not like what appears to be mountains at the west, change the mountain graphic
Complete the border between Gansu and Shaanxi
I think that Mamjing needs a bonus of 4, it has 6 territories and 4 borders.

Keep up the good work!

It looks like the land is floating above the water.

If you didn't already do the XML, get rid of at least one of the one-ways into Lanzhou, it would be near impossible to hold that continent. Also, what happened to the taiwan/hainan sea route? I think you should keep it...
