as I have experience with map rank, it is not accurate only if ranked player have some ongoing terminator game in which he/she is elimnated or made elimination. then his real points already counted the ones lost or got in elimnation, while map-rank doesnt include it until terminator game is over.
I think that is the only case when map-rank is not accurate, which means that it is accurate for all players who doesnt have any active terminator game.

No, ones score is not effected by missing game logs, only the historical data is. I dont know how or why, but i do know this is the case.

It just depends on if they cheated to get their high score (on the list), klobber was just a recent guesting I think, may not have even be related to gameplay

not all guests cheated in games and as lehar said its if they cheated (to avoid bias it is only if they are convicted of cheating) to get their high score, klober had his high score before my time but i dont think he cheated to get there.

krusher's score got reset by mods to 1000, but, somehow his over socreboard did not, not sure why? I know he never scored that high though. Mods did bust him on cheating, on more than one occassion.

also for player swho played in the year 2006 and early 2007, there wer emissing game logs which would effect some players scores, but for most players who came after that, it should reflect pretty good accuracy. However, a few months back, about 5 different players try to record thebest712 high socre and I got 5 different answers, so map rank is not perfect.

Krusher was busted for secret diplomacy , he secretly arranged with other players to throw games to him. His high score was to the best of my memory somewhere around 3500 , the disparity is probably because map rank does not reflect the points that were taken from him but do include the easy points he picked up after his score was reset to 1000. After the reset he climbed back up to around 3000 again at it is those 2000 points that distort the statistics.

page 100 in this thread, your post from October 17th. not only kh but also most of players from top 10 has there different score (higher) than they have on actual list, which is weird.
