Israel & Phoenicia at 860 B.C. (Plz look at this)

Postby VladikVP on Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:40 am

It all started when I was reading a book called "Historical Atlas" (in Danish), then I came across this map called "Israel & Phoenicia 860 BC" and thought about (not because I hold no interest for Israel and Phoenicia) but because it looked so perfect out to that it could be used as a Conquer Club map that I started to create it:

The map consist of 25 countries on 5 different continents which is:
    Top left orange: Phoenicia
    Top right blue: Syria
    Middle yellow: Israel
    Bottom left pink: Philistines
    Bottom right green: Juda
The funny thing with this map is that unless what continent u decide to conquer, u will always have to defend every single country in ya continent... :D (only some exceptions in juda...)
So Juda is the easiest continent to defend but its also the hardest to conquer... ;)
And i also think that i will add the Lebanese mountains to the map (between Lebanon and Antilebanon)

If i still need something, then please post a "list" of things that i still need...

Well, can't say much about it yet. Have you any plans for the gameplay?

I've been waiting for an Israel map for a long time.

[Moved]

It would appear that development of this map has stalled. If the mapmaker wants to continue with the map, then one of the Foundry Moderators will be able to help put the thread back into the Foundry system, after an update has been made. ;-)

Territory names...

you also might want to lower the opacity of the land texture and maybe lower the opacity of the colors.

Just to throw it out there here's a similar concept I had of a 12 tribes of Israel map. The bonuses would work like the 13 colonies map, so they don't have any actual individual value.
