Oh, and with a larger scoreboard, the "At bat: 3" part wouldn't be visible...

I'm not liking the scoreboard at all. It fills in the background but the rest of the background is so plain that I think the scoreboard looks out of place. Does everyone else disagree?

I'm completely with you. Personally, I think it was great with no scoreboard at all. I do think there is a way to make it part of the background, but everyone keeps shooting me down.

A bit better but still kind of weird.

Regarding the circles under the fielders: Can we see how those work with army numbers?

Sure. I think I already posted one for the small version... here's the large:

So, which is it going to be... no scoreboard, scoreboard under the title, or scoreboard below the title?

I would be absolutely fine with going back to no scoreboard.

I think below looks good, but with less opacity. And where is "Turtle Park" coming from? Why turtles??

EDIT: Oh, haha, I get it now, never mind...

I prefer A as well, then B, then C least of all, because the scoreboard in perspective view looks odd when obscured by a bird's-eye view of the field. If you do use B, the little detail of MONKEYS on the top line and TURTLES on the bottom line used in C would be nice in B.

I think A is the best bet now that I see all of them together.

A seems to be the most popular choice.

Ok, let's consider the scoreboard idea officially scrapped.

Is there anything else we could put behind the title? Maybe a big baseball, faded on the background?

Unrelated XML question: is it possible to have the batter start with 1 neutral but reset to 2 neutral? Just so that the player who goes first isn't at a disadvantage for having to kill the extra neutral. The batter does need to reset to 2 IMO so people don't just stack on the pitcher and assault the batter for a card.

I'm undecided about the baseball in the background. It kinda conflicts with the border around the legend.

Unfortunately, no. This was why Maze Craze got binned, actually.

Agreed, it conflicts with the baseball stitching you already have in place.

On second thought, that doesn't work either. Let's just go back to version A.

Ok, one thing that's kind of annoying is the top of the outfield and the foul area at the edge of the field. The outfield should be more of a semi-circle, and Idk, it's kind of an OCD uncomfortableness seeing like a "peak" on the map. Also, the foul area at the edge of the field should follow the same path, I don't really like how it's jutting out to the side.

The field's shape is based directly on that of Shea Stadium.

All ballparks are shaped differently. I have no problem with the shape of the field from a baseball perspective. If there are aesthetic reasons for making changes then I'm all for it.

I'm happy with the way it is as the graphics are clean, uncluttered, simple, easy to read! So I think this can be stickied!
