The title of the thread seems to indicate such.

I'm gonna throw in Ong-Bak and The Protector. Those are manly movies for men with penises. Haven't seen Ong-Bak II yet, though. I'm sure it's awesome. I bought like 3 other movies with Jaa in them, but haven't watched them yet.

My god was Ong Bak 2 bad. The action and martial arts was great, but the plot was so convoluted and nonsensical at times that it completely destroyed whatever awesomeness the action created. I don't recommend it.

I'm going to go with Shoot Em Up.

K just watched II yesterday. You're right, the plot was retarded, bu then again, plot is almost pointless in a martial arts movie. That said, I wasn't as impressed by the action either. The best parts imo were when he was weaponless, just using his hands, elbows, knees, feet, etc. I couldn't really get into the whole weapons thing. I applaud them for trying something different than the last films, but it didn't pan out. Apparently there's an Onk-Bak III out already, haven't watched that one. It's supposed to take place right after the first one, so perhaps it'll be better.

The book is way better and manlier. In the movie he kills like 2 people, right? In the book, he's way more badass.
