In a quick look, I can see three games right off the cuff where ljex and santoch play Oasis together. I can also see where ljex also has regurlar allies that constantly play together.
8602983, 7926807, 8602986. In all three games santoch is on team 2 and ljex is on team 1. Team one is consistently dominant and team 2 is constantly undermined from within. In 2 of the 3 games santoch successfully deploys in the first round and then misses his turn in round 2 which puts team 2 at a severe disadvantage. In the third game, he attack his own team directly vs waiting a round. In reviewing these types of games, it is clear there are patterns occuring.
In general, a reasonable set of House Rules for fair play on any good gaming site is as follows:
- Having more than one account in a game, including having access to more than one account for a brief period.
- Entering an anonymous game knowing who another player is/who other players are in the game.
- Breaking communication rules in games where these are restricted.
- Communicating about alliances prior to the game starting or entering the game with a preset alliance.
- Misusing a "dummy" account in a game.
- Allying with another player only because of previous knowledge.
- Carrying an alliance from one game to another.
- Linking actions or alliances in one game with actions or alliances in another.
- Entering a game with a preset plan to attack other players.
- Threatening action against a player for real or perceived cheating.
My guess is ljex's string of unusually good luck is more related to these types of behaviors outside of the game over good gaming and good strategy inside of the game.

Again, I will leave it to the moderators to review and decide if this sort of behavior is acceptable.

The rule on this site ONLY is in affect if New Recruits are being played. Not low ranks.

^^ AND...
He doesn't 'systematically farm' them... they join on their own. He doesn't go around and join the all, they join his games. And as you might have noticed, he doesn't even invite them.

Can they reset my points to 1000000000?
ANyways, I hadn't heard of that. But do a lot of new players REALLY go and search for quads, oasis, manual and freestyle games?

Apparantly the interpretation of Farming is limited to direct recruitment of newish players on the opposing team.
I would think that Farming should include the laying of hundreds (literally I just counted) of preset traps with a preset strategy intended to benefit only one player is just not good gaming. The only purpose of this type of strategy is to lay ambush so as to quickly earn rank. Even the above mentions if it weren't for this "oasis farming" ljex would be a major. How is this good gaming? Earning Field Marshal status by this method is for pikers who cannot win by strategy alone and so have to tilt the game in their favor before it even begins inorder to get an edge.

For tournement play, this is ok to have a team and a strategy and play a competive game. For casual play though, supporting this type of play is simply a discouragement for anyone new. New players who want to play a casual game, try out variants have to be on guard that the site inner circles and the most high ranking players are laying traps?
And your right, I am new player to this site with only 5 completed games. I am 3 for 5 so far which seems like a good start to me. I like gaming of all sorts and am considering supporting this site as I do others but I want to know that fair play is truly at the core of the site. Stepping into a trap and being told I was sucker punched by the second highest ranking player and that I better wise up is really not so welcoming.

If you have any doubts in future about the opposing team then you should do a search on the player (usually the first in the list or the high-ranker) and check his games played. If you see a pattern emerge, e.g. he predominantly plays one map and wins all the time, then he's most likely farming and you're better off avoiding those games.
If you're stuck for a decent team mate drop me or Dako a line and we'll play with you if it serves to help your enjoyment of the site. Cheers and good luck.
