Our group playing in Charleston has not completed this round yet, and that's OK, no rush. The other three groups have finished, however. I had a player inform me that they will be away for a couple of weeks at the end of this month and next month, and I wanted to try to get a few games in with his group before he leaves, provided he's not eliminated (and I know the tournament thread says people will be eliminated for not joining games, but that was written 6 months ago almost, and I don't expect people to have planned this far in advance. Once he's gone, his group's games will be delayed. I'm not going to arbitrarily eliminate anyone at this point of the tournament if they have a real-life commitment that takes them away from CC. Everyone's already survived too many games for me to do that to them).

Once the last training game is complete, we'll be down to 16 players. The surviving groups of four will be combined into two groups of 8 for the next phase of the tournament. These will be your groups for the next four games, until you're combined with the four survivors from the other group to create one Final Group of 8 would-be assassins.

Before the tournament started, I randomly selected which groups would be paired up for this phase. The Group D survivors will be playing with the Group B survivors and the Group C survivors will be matched up with the Group A survivors, so here are your new groups:

As per the original TO's last post,

I'll stick with that and try to use maps that fit in with the story and theme we've played under thus far. Of course I'm not privy to what Yojimbo had in mind for the rest of the story but I'll do my best to make it interesting, if less wordy and get us speedily through to the finals. Good luck to everyone left in the running, semifinals game two's for both groups coming up right away. I've elected just to keep this original thread so I'll keep any updates on the last page.
edit: the games are out, keep in mind that all rules from the original TO still apply, including having 24 hours to join your games and 48 hours before you're kicked from the tournament. If you need a rules refresher see page one of this thread. I believe the original TO stated it earlier, but at this point there will be no replacements for anyone who fails to show up, the group will just move on without him or her. I think they all ganged up on me. I was targeted by everyone other than me in round 2. I tried to weaken my killer when I got my set, but it was not enough.
