In light of the recent events brought on by the dissatisfaction of the scoring system, I thought it would be interesting to see how many people would be for or against having the points reset to zero. This it would seem is the only option if lack were to split the score for trips doubles and singles.
From my own viewpoint CC is relatively new time wise, and if a step like this were to be taken, then in my opinion it is best done as soon as possible.
I will start us off with my vote which would be a yes. Who knows, if enough people are in favor maybe the powers that be could initiate a ballot and we could see a new and better scoring system sometime in the near future.
f*ck no, whats wrong with you?!? Thats the dumbest idea ever.
I would be up for a monthly scoreboard being added, where everyone keeps their points they have earned thus far, but the monthly scoreboard resets every month and you can see how many points you've earned each month.
what exactly don't you like about having the points reset. I have reached my score over about a 4 month period, if you are good then it won't take long to get your score back to where it is now.

thats a lot of months
I'm Spanking Monkey now....err...I mean I'm a Spanking Monkey now...that shoots milk Too much. I know.
And as an added bonus for the players who are above Major rank, just think about the months of stress free playing by not having to worry about how many points you are going to drop to a newbie. I know not all of you worry about points but an awful lot do.
I voted yes. It would be worth it for the separate singles/teams scoreboards. I don't see what a monthly scoreboard would achieve.
Taking an enemy on the battlefield is like a hawk taking a bird. Though it enters into the midst of a thousand of them, it pays no attention to any bird other than the one it has first marked.
This site has been active for over a year, and over 300,000 games have been played. Surely there is a better way to improve the points system than to erase all the progress that 75,000 registered members have earned?

I like the monthly scoreboard idea, I'll assume it's already been suggested cuz it was posted by a mod
I voted yes, but only because I'm so far behind the big ranks and I want a chance to catchup without actually winning any games
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?
I could care less...really the cream of the crop will rise to the top once again! Those who didnt have the mental capacity to strategize their way to the top the first time surely wouldnt do it the second time neither.
No because the points work by taking the losers points for your own as spoils of war. And how many wars arent fought over some sort of reward or religion? (unrelated but true)
If you where to reset the points to zero why not eliminate them all together and just have a record of wins, losses and win %. That would truly show the higher skilled players and it would stop all this whining about the points.
When I said set to zero what I actually meant was set to 1000, the starting point of any player. with that in mind do you think I would be best starting a new pole, although I'm sure most people knew what I meant.
i think that we should keep them but a monthly scoreboard would be a really good idea so that the chance of being near the top of the scoreboard is a lot more realistic than the chance of being at the top of the scoreboard now
I got up to almost 1700 points in 30 some days. I could care less about points, but if all scores were reset then 80% of the members would start whining. So my vote is yes, because I like it when people whine about stupid shit.
There is no luck, only preparation and execution.
Alliances are for the weak, whimpering masses looking for someone to hold their hand through the storm.

LOL!!!!
come play against me, i'lll make you whine for some real SHIT!
Ok then on the same theme, how about you get to keep your rank. have two rank insignia one what you were and the one that you are on. Then when you rank equals what it was the old insignia goes. That way the generals would still be able to play the generals you could still have elite games, and the people who only want to play better opposition could still do so.
Which idiots voted yes? Stupidest idea ever, ever, ever! (probably, although some of creepyuncleandy's come close. lol)!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet everyone who voted yes has a score of less than 1000 - am I right?
