• DW creates the topic.
• I see the topic, think it's a joke, and laugh.
• I get busy and do not see the thread again until the situation is explained.
• I read through the topic and understand that his buddy is colorblind.
• To me, this makes my initial misinterpretation even funnier.
• I post showing how/why I misinterpreted it in case anybody else might appreciate the unintentional humor.
• You attempt to make me look like I have poor reading comprehension skills.

Unfortunately for you it's common knowledge that when a person says they have a friend... yadayadayada, that in fact they are asking vicariously through their Superego in a cognizant attempt to protect themselves from being denounced. In layman's terms, you made a conscious effort to not get made fun of for being a blind person. Which you so clearly are. My reading comprehension skills are better than you'd like to extend me credit for.

Also, I feel that my sympathetic question(in all of it's relavance) was batted off and now I fear it will be completely forgotten and buried alive in a terrential downpour of people making an ass out of you!! Sure but how are you going to see my incoming hug? We'll probably fail and awkwardly crash somewhere in the middle due to your inherent lack of hand to eye coordination. It's probably more like hand to whatever is most stable around you coordination. Never hugged a blind person before, this should be an insightful experience.
