according to my experience and knowledge, the owner who overpays to win something will definitely stop or at least slow down a lot once that thing is won...

Massimo Moratti (Inter President) is not being as much as he used to do a couple of years ago. and if Chelsea won the CL, I doubt Abramovich will care anymore.

Sod it, good luck to them: they were on verge of economic collapse a few years ago, now they're carried along on a wave of euphoria and I don't begrudge my fellow mancunians / salfordians a bit of luck, rather them than scousers or cockneys! Now if only some rich benefactor would save county and cheer gypsy up

of course i have no idea if they will win big trophies or not... I'm just trying to analyze how much would a rich man waste.. Man City owners would waste billions. I'm also trying to analyze when would that rich man stop wasting.
