Of course there are holes in the story because she hasn't shared every single detail of what happened the night of the assault and in its aftermath. She already shared WAY more information with the public than I ever figured she would.

Sometimes shit happens and communications between the police and the hospitals aren't always 100%. I have further information regarding this, but since she didn't even allude to it in her posts, I can't share it.

Oh, I understood exactly what you were saying in your post. And I agree with what you said. I was just trying to clarify the very first part of it.

I'm leaning against it being real.

NS, while you can't share details, can you share if there has been evidence provided by IR to corroborate her story? Evidence, not just walls of text...

There are many reasons why this could be true. People can get off on bail, which could land them in jail for 2 days before they get out. Doesn't mean that the guy is getting off scott-free. Or perhaps, there wasn't enough evidence to hold him yet. Eye-witness accounts are notoriously unreliable; they'd need other evidence. And victims are not always named in media accounts. Not to mention that not all crimes become news-worthy, depending on the market, and the amount of violence the city is used to.

what if the criminal in this case was an iilegal invading mexican gang member???

they're pretty much given carte blanche to rape and pillage the southwest

Hmm? Let's see, we've teamed up in games and chatted a bit,
so that makes her as real as anyone else I've met on this site
and I've enjoyed being her friend here.

That's all the reality I need... if she's a walk on or background
actress in any production my hope is they let her say something
so she qualifies for a SAG Card if she wants it.

I've met some surprising personalities on a variety of forums,
so people's RL situations aren't all that shocking...
or what they do to kill time.

Rock on Nola.

Just FYI, you can qualify for a SAG card without a speaking role in a movie. For example, my best friend got her AFTRA eligibility after a couple of years as a background actor on a soap. Once you're in one of the acting unions, it's fairly easy to gain eligibility for the others. Initial dues are very expensive though. So unless you need to join a union for a particular job or because you need the benefits, many actors choose to just stay eligible, which gives you access to the most work.

I hope you all are enjoying my business of acting course. Tuition is due Monday.

She has a SAG card. It says so right on her resume at Imdb.

Im an outsider here, so take this worth a grain of salt if you will, but I feel its only fair to everyone on this site to set the record straight, because she's pulling the same dramatic bullshit she always does. What IR was referring to in her first "Goodbye Conquer Club, I'll miss you" post as her 3 year medical problem was as some of you suspected, a mental illness. Her second post was likely an oops fix for her first post as a crude attempt to cover that up with something dramatic and terrible incident, all in an attempt to pull sympathy from the users here, in what is effectively her last hurrah. The user account "FireStar" is indeed a clone account created so that she can log in and view the results of her little ploy unbeknownst to all of you, and having known her well in person for a good many years, I can say for certain that "FireStar"s profile pic is simply IR with a pair of sunglasses and straightened hair.... A pitiful attempt at a Superman/ Clark Kent switch there. Insomnia Red, or Kristin J Quick as we know her, is was found to be a habitual liar and seems to have a need to weave these lies into the lives of those around her to gain attention and win people over, often at the expense of others. I do not have a personal vendetta against her, Im just tired of her bullshit, and cant stand to see her do that to all of you as well. From what Ive read, her little lie has snowballed to drive a rift between many of the users here, and Im sorry for that. Perhaps its that she cant help herself, and its just programmed into her, but dont let her toying with you get to your head. She's not dying, she just wants attention, and is probably just being sent back to the psychiatric ward once again. It is not her first time there....

To sum this up, stop fighting over her and go back to your lives.

GoodSamaritan, though I have a suspiscion or two about you, I'm not worried about IR's post driving a wedge into the community, as this is far from the biggest controversry that CC has faced (that was probably wicked getting banned, who was a mod for quite a while). And there have been numerous others. It's just something to take people's attention from the usual politics/religious debates for a lttle while. Soon enough, true or not, it will blow over and everyone will go back to their usual discussions.

I suppose you're still getting over her eh PS? I would never bother stalking
someone online or create an identity on a forum just to out them.

Stalking is for creepy guys with no lives, and I dont appreciate the assumption however it may have seemed with me posting here. I just dont want to see others fall for her tricks. It really shouldnt make any difference to me at this point, but one of the guys from my group told me of her recent "attack", so I googled it and found this thread. Believe what you want to believe, it makes no difference to me if you choose to fall willingly into her ruse like we all had before. If I truly bore ill-will against her Id disclose the full details of why she is the way she is and what she did to us, but thats just unnecessary and would be over the line, though she does deserve punishment....

I really think we should keep her 'goodbye' thread clean, so I was hoping we could switch the discussion over here.

Personally, I think some of those BPB skeptics are starting to make sense.

She's an actress with an IMDb page, who was brutally assaulted. Shouldn't there be something on the internet about it?

To you take your role of jerk seriously or is it just a hobby?

Why is he a jerk? I am starting to be persuaded in a direction of my "own truth" due to what's been presented here.

Lemme say it like this, does it make one a "jerk" for using the internet to justify a story? We have her name (which is supposed to be true given by a bystander), and we have a timeline (given by IR). In my experience, my grandparents were struck and one was killed by a drunk driver. You can google his name and it comes up with the news stories about the incident, Then, after he passed a day later, the obit was posted and can be googled too. Its not that hard to find. My grandfather was not a popular man in the regard the world knew of him, so it goes to show google can be a useful tool when researching some information.

On a side note, IR's "attacker" cannot be tried for murder until its proven she dies as a result of her injuries. The driver who struck my grandfather has already been convicted, and sentenced all in under a year (avoiding a trial however). The law will do what it can to honor her life, but there is a process there that will take time.

Not sure it was in her "defense" but nonetheless,

Very interesting information; turning into a potential soap opera if not already.
