elite games (lack of) (grr)

why are there never any elite games posted anymore?

especially escalating ones.

"play in elite games" they say. "then we will see"

but there arent any

its no fair

I posted about this too, but with no reply... I'll try and make more when I get tourney privs for my tournament.

Most of the people who were making them have had their tourney priv's revoked. I have mine back briefly and have just made some games, and I'll try to find a current tourney organizer or two to continue making them. Conqueror, I'd appreciate if you could make the games regularly once you have the privs.

The reason for this is the lack of room in the tourney section

It is essentially reserved for public tourneys for the most part right now

However, I do expect when the new phb update is released, we will have another option for making these games, which is clearly needed.

The elite games is very popular, the colonels games are very popular, the majors games are starting to take off, and even the super elite are having some issues with setting up games in there.

Also, many clans are asking for a place to settup there clan games, so the need for this is more than apparent.

And it is unfortunate that there isnt room in the tourney section, but looking through it, it is easy to understand the problem.

So, essentially the managment is asking us to be patient for now, but I do truly hope they understand the need for these options. These are in demand by the people who play the most in here for the most part. The people that really put the time into the game, and will be here for a long time. I just hope this isnt being blown off as a minor need that not everyone wants, because, even if its only 10% of the players that want these games....it is the top 10%, and the 10% that will be here for a while.

Well, these are not exactly elite games, but if you're a major or above you may want to join one or more in a series of 5-player games of the following description:

Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Sequential
Map: Classic
Bonus Cards: Flat Rate
Fortifications: Unlimited

the funny thing is, somebody changed the password to the elite games. I dont recall who even sets them up anymore.

No problem, it just takes a little longer when you don't have a friend giving his points away to you.

I'm enjoying the game a lot, but I haven't reached the level where I'm tempted to bribe anyone yet.

P.S. You still here, Sub? Thought for sure you'd be gone by now. I guess the massive wave of resignations in support of Dug fell through, huh?
