If Chris Johnson somehow dies before the game, then we'll have a chance.

I went with the Skins. I also picked TB to beat Atlanta. Make of that what you will.

Week 3

NE @ BUF Who's gonna stop Tom Brady from throwing for 600 yards this week? Especially if Fitzpatrick decides he wants a shootout
JAX @ CAR Killa Cam will get his first win against another rookie
SF @ CIN I think Dalton/Green is gonna be a good combo for years to come, as they showed last week, and SF just hasn't been able to do much of anything on offense
MIA @ CLE I'd say this is a toss-up, but the Browns beat the Colts last week, not that it even means anything though...
DET @ MIN AD/Purple Jesus will wear down the Lions, despite how big they are up front. And seriously... you think the Lions are gonna go 3-0?
HOU @ NO Probably gonna be a high scoring affair, but I give the nod to NO cuz their D is probably better than Houston's
NYG @ PHI I really wish this one would end up a tie, but if I had to choose a winner, I want the Giants to win (gives the skins a better chance of winning the division, as NYG will be banged up longer, and if the Iggles win without Vick... ugh hypemachine)
DEN @ TEN Denver is just so porous on the defensive side, and CJ2K has to finally get some big numbers
NYJ @ OAK The Jets D is not gonna give up that many points to Oakland, despite McFadden's best effort
KC @ SD The Chiefs have been horrible all season, and without Charles, I see no improvement
BAL @ STL After last weeks letdown, you know the Ravens are gonna be smelling blood. Expect many turnovers or another injury to Bradford
GB @ CHI Jay Cutler is gonna get sacked a lot, as usual, and this doesn't do the Bears any good
ARI @ SEA Which one sucked more? The Cardinal or the Seahawk? You don't really know, but at least the Cards have Larry Fitz
ATL @ TB I think the Falcons are gonna be emotionally drained after the win vs Vick & Co, similar to Baltimore's week 2 letdown
PIT @ IND The Colts make the Andrew Luck sweepstakes interesting despite KC and SEA's very compelling shittiness
WAS @ DAL There's only one word you need to know for this matchup. HAIL!

Last year the Bears beat the Packers in Chicago at the end of the season before Green Bay started their Super Bowl/Playoffs run... but I'm not convinced even home field advantage can nudge them or the Bills over the hump today.

The Texans over the Saints in Nawlins is definitely a stretch, but I think the Eagles still have enough offensive mustard --even without Vick-- to thump the Giants. Washington Redskins have a shot at starting out 3-0. Oh come on... really?

The reason I picked against the injured QBs: during the 2006 season Ben Roethlisberger suffered a concussion against the Falcons. He came back the next week to play against Oakland. The Steelers got wrecked in one of Ben's worst performances. He had a lot of injury and medical problems that season, which probably contributed more to their poor season overall than a Super Bowl hangover.

A wild day of great football so far today...
A Giants victory in Philadelphia. Andy Reed gets out coached and the Eagles get out played. New York only reached the Philly red zone once this entire game, but put up 29 points. =D>
Adding injury to insult, Michael Vick breaks his right hand in the second half.

The Texans choke in the Super Dome and the Saints prevail again.

Coming back from 21-0 at the half, the Bills pick off Brady four times
and win with a field goal on the final play of the game. =D>

The Vikings blow another big halftime lead at home
and the Lions win in OT. =D>

Panthers, Niners, Browns and Titans all win close ones
and I'm 5 - 3

Orton's time is running out. He played like shit. Tebow might be a worse passer, but his leadership and discipline are infinitely greater. I'd rather see Tebow play than Orton because we have no chance at the playoffs otherwise.

They could've beat the Raiders and they should've beat the Titans.

If our run defense stays good and we get Bailey and Dumervil back soon to better our pass defense, we'll have a chance at beating the Chargers.

Also, I love how Kern, the Titans punter, is their leading rusher.

Cowboys managed six scores against a very good Redskin defense. It wasn't the six I was hoping to see, but it was enough to kick the Skins to the curb this time. 18-16

I was impressed with the play of Rex Grossman and Santana Moss is always a big threat
and Cowboy Killer in these games.

Week 3 Scores

Week 4
CAR @ CHI expect Bears D to get it done... but I'll pull for the Panthers
BUF @ CIN
TEN @ CLE a nod to Colt McCoy and the home field advantage
DET @ DAL dunno if Cowboys can defend Lions' pass attack or avoid Suh-acks
PIT @ HOU anticipate a tight battle much like last week in Nawlins
NO @ JAX Saints brees past Jags
MIN @ KC underachieving Vikes finally get a win
SF @ PHI love to see the Niners shock the Eagles in Philly
WAS @ STL okay... I finally pick the Skins to win
NYG @ ARZ Giants played their best game so far last week in Philly
ATL @ SEA I'm just hoping the Falcons aren't too jet lagged to play this one
DEN @ GB
NE @ OAK . . . Raiders rush past Pats for upset of the week
MIA @ SD
NYJ @ BAL Raven's defense starts a Jets losing streak
IND @ TB can the Colts find a way to score in a Defense Dominated Game?

You wish. This seems to be another year of the packers playing to the strength of the opposing teams, but they have won so I don't care.

Beating the Packers at Lambeau Field would certainly be a good start
at turning this season around for the Broncos. Unfortunately I don't
expect the Pack to be challenged before they visit Atlanta week 5.
