The Bucs came close. No way I see the Packers finishing undefeated.

The called Bengal's Touchdown in the 4th Quarter that was reversed upon further revue is a curious thing. He possesses the ball across the plane of the Goal Line with both feet in bounds and the ball moves in his hand when he hits the ground out of bounds. it's determined an incomplete pass instead and the "Breaking the Plane" rule for scoring apparently does not apply.

If a running back does the same thing at the goal line it isn't even questioned.

Are you likening the Buffalo Bills to a 3 year old girl? :-s

You're right. Buffalo should be compared to a shitty being that has absolutely no potential.

I live in upstate New York so I know a lot of fans and almost all of their games are televised here. I don't remember them making the playoffs in my lifetime. They are absolute shit.

Topping New England early in the season (and in the fashion they did it, too) gave many what I believe to be good cause to have faith in the Bills. Obviously, things have fallen apart since then. Looking at the big picture though, the assessment of "not quite there" makes sense.

Buffalo and Denver currently have the same won/loss record, but the Bills
are the only NFL team to play in 4 consecutive Super Bowls.

And the Broncos actually won a Super Bowl (2, in fact).

Trust me, I'm not a Bills fan but I'd love for them to do well. I feel bad for teams that are so shitty for so long. But I was fooled again this season in thinking they were contenders.

I will only believe in the Bills once I physically see the Lombardi trophy in one of their hands.

Oh wait, must have been just me, but I didn't think that you could beat up a three year old girl. :P I was under the impression that they gave you nightmares. ;)

Den v. NYJ - Den (1)
Oakland v Minnesota - Oakland (2)
Buffalo v Miami - Buff (2)
Cincinnati v Baltimore - Baltimore (3)
Jacksonville v Cleveland - Jacksonville (3)
Dallas v Washington - Dallas (4)
Tampa Bay v Green Bay - GB (5) ... too bad, the Bucs almost had them.
Carolina v Detroit - Detroit (6) (waaay closer than I would have thought...)
Seattle v St. Louis - St. Louis (6)
Arizona v San Francisco - SF (7)
Tennessee v Atlanta - Tennessee (7)
San Diego v Chicago - SD (in an upset) (7)
Philadelphia v NY Giants - Philly (8)
Kansas City v New England - NE

Was a bad week for me. A lot of odd games, really. 8 - 5 with one game coming.

I live 2 hours east of Buffalo, and I love being a Miami fan up here! Buffalo went to the Super Bowl in 90, 91, 92 and 93. They lost them all. (Jim Kelly was so over-rated!)

You can't call a QB overrated after they lead their team to their team reaches four consecutive Super Bowls, since that is a significant accomplishment regardless of the outcome.

Lead?

That was Jim Harbaugh! Kelly would get "injured" and Harbaugh would come in take them through the playoffs....then Kelly would play in the Super Bowl and lose it. The only reason Buffalo did so well those 4 years was because they had good receivers (Lofton, Reed) and Thurman Thomas at running back. Kelly sucked.

Ok... I got the lead out of my previous post. Football is a team sport after all and a good QB is just one big piece of the puzzle.

In that decade Dallas was a dominant team that should have won 4 consecutive Super Bowls. A few brain farts by Barry Switzer and his staff against San Fran in a third consecutive NFC Championship Game nixed it.

You know, I like the 49ers, but I'm not a very big fan of Harbaugh.

Both Harbaughs seem to be doing something right.

I think he is a fine coach---there is just something about him at his press conferences or interviews that's rubbed me the wrong way. Same back when he was at Stanford.

I think he's just pretty passionate. The dustup with Carroll in college, the fracas with Jim Schwartz, it's just his way of showing his dedication to his team and his players and a never back down attitude I think.

Compared with some of the recent coaches like Singletary, it's a refreshing change to see an actually competent coach.

Seems to me Singletary was pointing the Niners in the right direction and
Harbaugh inherited some decent talent. His passion, focus and intensity
are outwardly obvious on the sideline and after the game.

Harbaugh definitely wants to get it right and win.

I think Singletary certainly got the right sort of physical mentality, but he never struck me as a very good Xs and O's type of play caller. I think Harbaugh is better suited for the HC because he has a better overall understanding of all sides of the game.

Singletary definitely seems like a coordinator, not a head coach.

The Patriots look horrific on both offense and defense though they've only given up 3 points so far.

34-3 puts the Pats back on top of the AFC
and 11-3 is my best group of picks so far.
