Wow, just watched the Saints/Titans highlights. Locker made such a rookie mistake on that last play by not throwing it, but it seems like he played well. Good for him and Yates.
Sounds like Chicago blew it a towards the end of regulation,
going out of bounds and leaving time on the clock. Next week
the Pats visit the Mile High Tebow Zone.
The Skins gave the Pats all they could handle... including a Santana Moss
give away at the finish to make Rex's stats look bad on the day.
A rookie QB's first NFL start ends well for the Texans with a last second TD,
but the same scenario yields a different result for the Titans. Yates: 300 yards, 2 TDs and an INT
A missed face mask penalty saves a Lions' take away and win.
Packers are 13-0 with Chiefs, Bears, and Lions left. 16-0? Or do they rest their starters so they don't get hurt.
Example: Colts are 14-0, rest their starters, lose last 2 games. Have a 1st round bye, and lost in the divisional.
Example: Patriots are 14-0, play to win the entire thing, lose in the superbowl.
What to do, what to do...
Please don't invite me to any pickup games. I will decline the invite.

I would definitely keep going if I were the Packers. Team is young so they don't really need the rest and I bet they really want to run the table.
I don't think David Tyree caught a ball with his helmet because the Patriots didn't rest their starters. He did that because... how in the hell did that happen?

Glue or steriods
Every time I see Eli's helmet close up, I can't help but laugh. He looks like a 5 year old playing tackle football for the first time.

Seriously, I thought the Ryan's knew how to coach a defense. 12 point lead with 5 minutes left?
To be fair, I think the lockout effected defenses the hardest, which helps explain why there have been so many records set and broken in offense league wide this year.
Another way to look at it is that this was a division game (and a big rivalry) and the Giants never quit. Also, Romo has historically sucked not just in December but also in 4th quarters. He's the opposite of Tim Tebow or Joe Montana.

Then the Pack was like "Naw, just kiddin'. We're gonna pound you."
The Packers' drive was unbelievable. During the last drive, I looked at my computer for a few seconds and then realized they gained 40 yards.
I know the Packers' defense is great at creating turnovers, but they do give up a lot of yards (and points, in some games). Imagine if they had a Ravens-type defense. That would be an automatic loss.

Actually Romo has the highest 4th Quarter rating of all active QBs in the NFL. That's Rodgers, Brees, Manning, Rivers et all.
Of course if he hits Austin on that 3rd down it wouldn't have come down to a kick
to extend the game. So it goes... a great day of football. Argh!!!!x2
Cowboys and Giants meet to finish the season in January.
