Well I have dropped my playing time down for a few days--I have not said anything negative--I still have no focus and keep making mistakes but that will change as my game count goes down. I will get my tourneys caught back up, but am too busy for the next week at least. I still don't think nor would I want to just walk away--but I do have to find my happy medium. Well you always seem to have quite a heavy load of games going, so bringing that game count down over the holiday season could do some good. Or you could try to break the most games active record again and have your head explode. Your call.

Highlander.....very eloquently stated my friend - you took the words right out of my mouth.....lol. This is my ONLY on-line problem (and has been since a month after Lack started this damn place....damn you Lack!! lol). I have broken 2 mice....found myself screeching at my kids because they wanted a drink Yelling at the dog......and bitching mercilessly about the dice.

However.....I belong to xigames....one of the first groups here and one that began over 10 years ago to play risk at the MSN zone. We are friends that play fairly and have fun together....we are over 100 strong and I have made many lifelong friendships thru this silly group on this silly site.....and I enjoy our banter in our games and try not to be too concerned over my disgustingly diving score

Yeah, I was there for a very short time, and it was in a separate forum when I was there. I have no doubt its a great group, I just saw some ribs open and decided to go for a cheap shot.

In any case, Ive decided to ignore the fun of animosity, and plan on getting back to the roots of being a polite player at all times....though, I do reserve the right to mess with a few that actually just deserve it. I honestly believe that is my calling.

There probably is some sort of metric that says based on 'x number of games you are currently playing', that your head will explode after 'given duration of time.' If only I was reel good at math or stats or numbers learnin'.

Okay... if you are reel good at math, then you can figure it this way:

(12+144+20+3*(4)^1/2)/7 +5*11 = 9^2 + 0

That is:

A dozen, a gross, and a score,
Plus three times the square root of four,
Divided by seven,
Plus five times eleven,
Equals nine squared and not a bit more


If you are not so good... then follow these easy steps:

1. Grab a calculator. (you won't be able to do this one in your head)
2. Key in the first three digits of your phone number (NOT the area code)
3. Multiply by 80
4. Add 1
5. Multiply by 250
6. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number
7. Add the last 4 digits of your phone number again.
8. Subtract 250
9. Divide number by 2

And there is your answer...
the number was in front of you all along.

Damn I thought I was the only one beating on my desk top from the dice screwing me,Highlander I understand you, the only time i start games is if I fill them with players I know.other than that I only join when the games are mostly filled up with one or two spots left that way I dont join games early and have the point hunters come after me,real rare do I play tournament or speed games,the crazies that join peeved me bad enough that after a couple I decided not to go that route anymore. or 2 vs 2 team games are safe. other than that the only time I give my points away is to cooks and cadets to teach them new maps,and thats voluntary by me so that they can learn without getting screwed. I find that quite satisfying nowdays,keeps me interested in cc beyond the games I am trying to win and my clan games. A safe thing is most of the players responding here have some sense,when you start your games invite them,odds are you wont be head hunted by most of them
