Welcome to Superpower Royale, the ultimate test for those who seek immaculate power in Conquer Club/Risk matches. Here, points are earned not by who can kill more players or achieve more objectives, but by who can control more of the map they are fighting for.
Player Sign-Up
Free players will be allowed to play, however you must keep one slot open for the tournament at all times. At sign up, you must include one map that you wish to be your home map. Its usage will be explained below. NOTE: Because of the importance your home map has if you reach the finals, ALL ENTRIES THAT LACK A HOME MAP WILL BE REJECTED. Any map that is in beta may not be selected as your home map.
Tournament Format
The Superpower Royale will be handled in two stages: the Regular Season and the Finals.
Regular Season: The regular season will be handled over 25 rounds. For the first round, players will simply be randomly split into 5 matches. For the other 24 rounds, the top 5 players will be split up and put into 5 matches, and the remaining players will be randomly redistributed to fill these 5 matches. The map each match will be played on will be randomly selected from the players' home maps. You will earn a point for each round you remain the player with the most territories. (To earn a point, you must have the most territories from the end of your turn to the beginning of your next turn without any other player surpassing you at any point in between.) At the end of the game, the player(s) who has/have earned the most points in that game will be crowned the Game Superpower(s) and be added to the list of Game Superpowers. In the event that a match winner should emerge before reaching the round limit, that winner will earn a point for each turn they would have gotten until the round limit.
Finals: The players with the top 4 scores from the Regular Season, plus one "Wildcard" to be randomly selected from the list of Game Superpowers, will advance to the Finals. The 5 finalists will play 5 games with the same rules to earn points as before. Each player will get a chance to play a game with their home map and to be the first player. The player that earns the most points in the finals will be crowned the Hyperpower of Conquer Club.
