Im in such a funk

After reaching my all time high of 2350, I have steadily fallen to 1550.

I have 7500 games played, and my play style has not changed. I just cant seem to get the drop, or the cards, or the dice to put together a decent amount of wins.

I was embarrassed today when I logged in & saw I am not even an officer any more.

Anyone else going through this?

You are living my life. LOL I went from being a major to as low as a private first class. Now it is taking me forever to try and regain my status. Ohhhhhhh to be an officer again....

I can sympathize. I went from a major down to a Sgt. 1st class and stayed there for a while. I've managed to eek my way back to Lt., but I don't think it will last.

everytime someone starts one of these threads it is always the same thing.....5261 of your games played are 1v1 games all on standard maps and are open to the CC public to join..these kind of 1v1 games are detrimental to your points, especially the higher your score is once you reach the major rank you will always lose more then you gain....Im surprised you have not figured this out yet..

if you really want to keep playing 1v1 games and gain points you need to follow the examples of some of our more immoral members...

alstergren - current score - 2105 current rank - Major highest score - 3418 highest rank - General
Games played - 11575......1v1 games played - 3954

spend endless amounts of time scrolling through the Join Games tab looking for 1v1 games set-up by New Recruits or very inexperienced players (between 5-40 games played) then join these games and take some easy points...although joining games with New Recruits is considered farming there is no need to worry as you would have to be doing this for a loooooong time before any punishment will be handed out....

but not to worry the punishment for this is very weak and you could play this system for a few years and see your score climb nicely...

Games played - 1603......1v1 games played - 1298

spend endless amounts of time prowling the Live Chat callouts waiting for New Recruits or very inexperienced players (between 5-40 games played) to come in asking for a real time game and then accept these request and tell them that you will set-up the game and send the invite...

the key to this strategy is to master one of the more difficult maps...(City Mogul/AOR/Pelop war or some other conquest style map) and make sure you have it set-up as a feestyle game as this will really feck with there heads....now because this is a real time game you can just control each round...a few little tricks to further grantee success

As this is a freestyle real time game you can both start your move at the same time but make sure to let them take there move first and wait till they have finished there attacks and are forting before you start your move then counter anything they have done like breaking bonuses while at the same time grabbing a few for yourself..as soon as next round starts you can jump in with a nice bonus then repeat & rinse...

if they have not finished there attacks then you can encourage them with a bit of coaching in the game chat and counter all there negative comments about been invited to a map they do not know and settings they are unfamiliar with with promises of some sort of strategic enlightenment when the game is over

as for punishments...same as above but you can always eventually quit the New Recruits and just continue to play the inexperienced players (between 5-40 games played) till the end of days..

this is the combination of both the above examples....set-up lots of Private 1v1 games on complex maps then invite lots of New Recruits or very inexperienced players to said games..no need to butter them up with promises of some enlightenment or spend endless amounts of time finding willing victims just click on the scoreboard and jump towards the end and start cherry picking players and send out some invites...Viper Private 1v1's for last few months

its a bit like fishing...sometimes you wont get a bite but if you keep tossing your lure back in someone will bite..

again punishments are same as above examples

or if this all seems a bit to unethical for you and you do not think you could lower yourself to this kind of play then stop playing so many 1v1 games and mix up your games with some escalating 6,7 or 8 way games and try find a team-mate or two and get good at team games... these are all good honest ways of keeping a decent score....

I feel ya..colonel to my current level and it still going down..my last roll 8 v 2. It ended 2 v 2, don't know what I can do about this ?

On a brighter note, I did come from behind and win a classic 1 v 1 today..escalating cards. Managed to stay alive, don't know how and with the extra man power just got there..roll was way in the neg though.

Hoping for things to turn around soon..optomistic

you average 54% wins which is not bad - Irish Ace has a big point - I was major last year and now I'm sfc and having fun. I'll probably be back up to Lt. soon but I'm not going to worry 1 damn about the points... I suggest you do the same

Yeah, I know how you feel. I used to be a Major consistently, and here and there a colonel. Then, I took an arrow to the knee. One for each point.

I just completed a spiraling down funk, in regards to some 1vs1 games I had going on the London Map. I think I'll just avoid playing that map for a while, and go back to some of my other 1vs1 maps.
