I just lost 9, Kid_A claimed he once lost 15, and I don't have a reason not to trust him.

What's the most you have lost killing a single 1? From the same stack.

I think i have done an 11 stack before... In my most recent feudal game Game 10844755 I managed to go through 3 single 1's with i think 15 men... Wound up with only 3 left...

I remember losing 14 in an auto-attack in a game once....could not believe it, but for a while now 1's have had me pulling my hair out with how stubborn they can be sometimes...I feel like Im always getting fecked over by 1's...

Me too. Never auto-attack them anymore. The singular number 1 most infuriating thing on CC. Especially when you're just trying to take out a teammates 1. What are the odds of rolling 3 dice 5-10 times & losing against 1 die each & every time?

just lost 6 in a row. don't know if it is my highest or not.
however what i find most annoying is when you're in a 1v1 game battling over a few terits.
i like to leave only 2s behind to maximize my chances of winning.
so it's really annoying when my opponent runs through my trail of 2's winning every roll and leaves just 1s behind. and when i try to take those 1s i lose 1-3 troops for each one. it's awfull to see a guy have a 6 stack and kill 3-4 terits with 2 troops on each and then you come with 15 and barely take back those terits.

I forget the most I've lost to a 1, but if I said something ridiculous like 40, my regular teammates would probably say 'yeah, that's Arad all right, dipship doesn't know how to roll dice'. Whatever my worst is, I know it is definitely double digits, and I'm pretty sure closer to 20 than 10. Like somebody uptop was saying though, what kills me is when I'm continuously losing 2 or 3 armies against 1's. That pisses me off more than just about anything with this game. A similar thing that pisses me off is when I knock a little stack, like a 9 down to a 1, rolling perfectly, not losing a roll, and then I lose 6 armies trying to take that last 1.

+1....this is my only ever problem with the dice....it feels like it happens to much

I know its been worse then this, but I can't remember an exact situation or number so the highest i can SPECIFICALLY remember...

12. A 13 and a 5 stack both vs a 1 attacked down to a 3 and both failed / lost all dice.

I know I've had larger, and really horrible things vs a 3...(much much worse than 12) but again, vs a 1 that I can remember....12

i wanted to eliminate an opponent from an area.
i had 3 troops next to a 3 and a 1 from the opponent.
so i deploy 6 on my 3 thinking it will be ok. i've failed far better situations but this is all i could afford for that area of the map.
9v3,1 has a 88.9% chance of success so i was comfortable with those odds.
so i roll 9v3 and win the first roll. now it's 9v1,1 and i'm thinking. hell, i would have put less troops here had i known i would be this lucky. so confidently i proceed to roll the dice. i fail one, and then another, and another. until finally i find myself 3v1,1.
at this point i'm basically forced to win all rolls and that's a 24.1% chance. so i roll and obviously lose the first roll. now eliminating the opponent is impossible as i have 2v1,1 and i think to myself: "i should roll again and if i lose i'll post in the dice thread"

and since we're talking about dice, what do you guys think on the timing of dice?

i'm taking my turns and so far i got screwed by the dice in 3 games, the one i posted above, then i'm in a game where it's an all or nothing turn. i've got 8 troops to break a 3 a 2 and a 1. the first terit (a 2) means i break a bonus for the opponent. the 3 and the 1 secure a bonus for me.
8v2, roll once becomes 6v2, roll again and it's 4v2. me getting a bonus is a dream, but i really must break the opponent's bonus. so i roll again 4v2 and it becomes 3v1. a glimmer of hope. then 2v1 and finally 1v1. opponent kep his bonus, i didn't get mine, and it's game over.

third game, all your base map. the first turn the opponent made a mistake and i feel i could take the lead. then he gets perfect dice while my 9v2 ends 3v2 and can't break him. another turn and the story happens, he doesn't even bother protecting his bonus and i fail again losing every roll.
now it's the turn where the game is decided, if he keeps his newly gotten bonus i'm out. 8v5. 73.6% chance of winning. it ends 2v2.
game over.

so yeah, 3miserable turns that cost me 3 games.

fourth game it's in the bag. i have only a formality of deploying my 19 bonus to kill the last 2 terits of my opponent. i also have to kill a neutral 3. that's 22v3,3,3. won every single roll. not one loss, not a single damn loss.

thanks CC for giving me perfect dice when i don't need them and rotten ones when it's the most important turn of the game.

to lose in a 10 vs 1 you would have to hit .o4 %... not that I am calling you guys liars... but sometimes after the fact the occurrence grows in legend in your mind. Mine as well...

I call for screen shots.

how would you propose people take a screen shot of such an occurrence? and its not like these people knew they were ever going to need the screen shot to post in this thread when it happened...most likely quite some time ago

Probably not my worst but most recent one was excruciatingly painful ... went 13v1 and lost, then (same map) went 15v3 ... 8 left ... 8v2 lost .... but then on another map right after this I hit a 170 vs 247 and won with like 50 something left - almost shit my pants ...
