Following North Carolina's banning of not only gay marriage, but civil unions for gay folk, where do posters stand?

Gays should absolutely have equal rights, there should be no question about this but I think that there needs to be some form of public resistance against the gay community. If you take all of the taboo out of being gay then it won't be as hot when I beat off to gay porn.

Gay Rights activists are looking to get a ballot measure in main put on the next ballot I recall from some time ago (which is one of the first measures that activists rather than opponents, are seeking voter referendum). The country will most likely continue to shift towards accepting more and more Gay Rights, just as the country shifted on Women's and Civil Rights.

I can understand why North Carolina needed to double down on the anti-gay marriage thing, it is only a matter of time before bans like this are swept away like other civil rights injustices of the past. The younger the age group is, the more overwhelmingly in favor of gay marriage that they are. Eventually this will just be another page in the history books. People will look back at this the same way they look at slavery. They'll shake their heads and wonder why something that seems so obvious to them was so controversial for us.

By the way, I'm still waiting on hearing what the difference between those opposed to interracial marriage and those opposed to gay marriage is. Keep in mind that interracial marriage was illegal in many parts of the country until 1967, and that even though those opposed to it have to be silent on it to avoid revealing what a fucking bigot they are that there are still people out there that oppose it.
