I'd like to point out that its pretty difficult to take up an overall political view. different systems work best in different places, so how can you be one way or the other?

Of course different systems for different societies, but which system works best? You can't possibly say that tribalism in the Afghan/Pakistani mountains works just as well (or can you???) as capitalism in the West.

That's the big question.

I'm up there. Almost exactly where the Dalai Lama is:

Economic Left/Right: -5.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.10

Margarette Thatcher was the first female Prime Minister of Britain. She is very well known so I'm surprised you haven't heard of her. She was a torrie and famously right wing. If you want more info check wikipedia or something, I'm no encyclopedia.

  she has an ''ism''!!!!!! basically she was the first person in the uk to say ''screw you miners and common people, were not giving you any pay rises''and also managed to win an election with an insanely high unemployment rate.....she did very well.

Yeh I got that. 'The Lady's not for turning!' Had a little read. I found it interesting that it was adapted from a quote which read 'the lady's not for burning' (Christopher Fry), which would have been an entirely appropriate punishment in my eyes. :D

Updated...

Woah - where are all the conservatives hiding? Or is everyone in 'hug a hoodie' mode?

I tried, but to no avail :( I'm using M*c**so*t Excel for the graph because it's easy to enter the data and update the graph but if anyone knows how to make it look better let me know.
