79. 79 threads that contain the word "Obama" in either the title or the first post.

...all on page 1......

btw, Pimpdave holds the record, with 113 Tea Party/Republican threads in less than 90 days. Did that bother you guys earlier this year?

However, there is actually a point to be made here. What all this shows is that Leftists are not defending any Obama policies, or even talking policy at all. They are taking the path of baselessly accusing everyone and anyone who does not vote for Obama of whatever is convenient at the time.

You can add whatever qualifier you like, but it won't change the question I was answering, nor does it change the answer to that question.

Are you really trying to compare yourself to someone who is on yet another 3-month ban?

Fair point.

And I did not know he was banned, but I should have figured.

How do you get a 3 month ban after just getting back from a 6 month ban?

Seriously, if saying stupid things is a reason to bash Romney and judge him as stupid and not vote for him, then you can't vote for Obama either, because he says stupid things toO

New Thread: ZOMG Obama doesn't know there are 50 states!!!!!!!! WHAT AN IDIOT! How can you possibly vote for him? :P

For what it's worth, I've generally viewed you as a rational conservative poster. The sort of person who holds generally conservative views, but doesn't think that conservatism equates to the Republican party platform.

i'd imagine that woody could pass as a moderate conservative in the UK. you probably think he's "rational" because he's left-wing by american standards and agrees with you most of the time.

Pretty much anywhere outside of these forums, to be fair. Defaulting from Republican party politics seems to be the definition of liberal here.

No, it just proves that more people have made Romney threads that Obama ones in the past few days, likely because Romney has been in the news for not just gaffs, but also things like releasing his tax returns. Obama has just been rather quiet for the past couple of weeks.

And, once again, that your definition of "liberal" is anyone who doesn't share your extreme right views (right on most issues, anyway..)

I don't tend to think of the Republican Party as the party of conservatives any more. But I also wouldn't consider myself to be a conservative SOCIALLY (some of my personal views are, but in many cases my personal views also include not making them law). As well, conservatives in the United States and conservatives outside of the United States are two vastly different things. The U.S. is really weird in that regard.

I don't think it's an "outside of these forums". I think for me to fall within "moderate conservative", I would need to be "outside of the United States". I tend to think that these forums do UNFORTUNATELY reflect the same idiocy that the United States shows as far as what a conservative and a liberal are, which are very different from what those terms mean outside of the United States.

I don't consider you one of the most conservative posters here. Of the folks who post a lot, I'd go with Night Strike as probably the most conservative (off the top of my head), followed by Phatscotty and Demonfork. And some of the less-than-frequent posters, such as Dibbun and Hapsmo and beezer and DangerBoy would certainly be, in my view, in the general area of Night Strike. I do consider you conservative, but not to their level.

EDIT: I listed Night Strike twice, so this has been corrected. (That's just how conservative he is! <smile>)
