While I am glad that STL won since I picked them, that was a tough game to watch. Cardinals should sit Kolb for a week so he can recuperate. That boy has many years forgetting where he parked his car ahead of him.
For all the crap heaped on the Replacement Refs, the Real Refs certainly miss their share of calls.
Big hits are under huge scrutiny with plenty of personal foul first downs awarded. It's hard to balance out these calls across the NFL though with some being flagged while others are ignored. The helmet to helmet thing may require an official video review in the future, since these contacts happen too fast, are not always intentional, flagrant or in many instances even happening.
The Saints/Chargers game last night certainly had it's share
of missed calls and game changing penalties.
Congrats to Indianapolis for their comeback win
sacking Rodgers and the Pack in the second half.
so... the skins.... yeah. Robert looks good, and so does Alfred Morris, and the offense in general (even the line has been playing solid, especially Trent Williams). But the defense is struggling with so many injuries, and it's not as if the secondary was good to begin with.
This week the DBs played exceptionally, pretty much as good as the NO game, so I'm not complaining. Shame that we could have pulled that one out (maybe) if RG3 stays in the game. Here's to hoping for a quick recovery.
