US and Al-Qaeda

Post by BigBallinStalin »

I viewed this about 12 hours ago, great thing to wake up to! Why? Because it's pretty eye-opening to listen to some knowledgeable Americans talk about the issue. This is much more in-depth than what you'll regularly run into.

The main topic is about 30 minutes total in two parts. The 1st 5 minutes is action-packed shoot-em-up scene (or sequence), but just go to the table where they begin the discussion. Those ten minutes, and the 20 afterwards are very interesting.

You may think it's a lot of time, but considering how much time you'll save yourself from listening to other people's uninformed opinions about Afghanistan and the current war from the mass media, you'll really appreciate this short discussion. Besides, it may encourage you to read something very enlightening about current events, terrorism, national security (internal and external), and what not.

*If you'd like to talk about Al-Jazeera being biased, start a new thread. As soon as people begin rambling about bias, they simply label an entire group as something and forget to address select people or things as biased. Please spare us that derailing. I'm sure that if you actually watch that discussion, you may gain a deeper appreciation for what's out there...

Enjoy!

Hey, asshole from 2009. This doesn't work. People want it chopped up and processed for low-cost consumption.
