Okay, been having some issues with youtube lately. Many times when I click to watch a video, I only get a black screen. I do get audio, but nothing else. Not even the play/pause button or anything on that little toolbar. It works when watching the video, say, with the youtube button on here with watching it on the forums (works all the time). But probably half the time I get that black screen. Anyone offer any help with that? And I did try clearing my cache and cookies, but it didn't change anything.

But yeah, audio on youtube is not my problem. It's that about half the videos only come up as black screens with no pictures or anyway to control the video, but I do get audio.

Yup, all plug-ins up to date. First thing I checked actually. And I use explorer, though I get the same results with other web browsers.

OK, Watson, but I really don't see Alvin recreating his image. He's the stud of the group, why would he diminish himself by changing? It isn't as if he's the nerdy Simon, struggling to drop his Chipspunk in some Chipcunt.

There are only 2 fathomable explanations for Alvin changing his name to Calvin and recreating his image.
1) The original Alvin has died from drug overdose. This would not be surprising. Who could naturally attain such a high pitched squeak? He was probably on whip-its, passed out, and eventually died. In the revolving door of Alvins who have since portrayed him, the most recent one (who played the character "Alvin" in the movie trilogy ending Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked) decided that he'd proved his worth and should be allowed to be more himself, thereby leading Alvin to change his moniker to Calvin, along with the personality changes that would allow the newest chipmunk to show his true colors.
2) Alvin, whose religion we can only assume, changed his beliefs to that of Calvinism (more info at Wikipedia.org), and in fully accepting this change in his heart, adopted the name of his religions founder, John Calvin.

The connection from youtube problems to netflix is obvious (both are video providers of some form), it is obvious from youtube problems to linux (better understanding of a computer's inner workings would allow the user to assess the problem on his/her own), it is obvious from linux to Linus (changing one letter), and from Linus to Calvin (two central characters in famous comic strips). Now please, if we're gonna get crazy, we need to do it in a reasonable manner. The human body doesn't function when the synapses don't fire in order, much like this jovial conversation can't function when logical connections aren't made.
