Also, i am getting the feeling that if i don't fix these the map will not be stamped. Is this now a condition for stamping.
I feel i have justified my position well, and given you adequate explanation of what occurs in my software.

cairns, with the two gold rings that isaiah pointed out, some things can be done quickly to improve them I am sure. But my only thing is why is the one at Presnensoe look different from the others? It looks smoother and darker than all the rest.

Honestly it's almost X-mas and I should be more relaxed and happy than how I am right now. Part of this is not related with CC, just I have a difficult and uncommon situation at home these days...and it is exactly for this reason that I would like to log in CC and have fun.
Instead it's some time that almost every single day I have to hear something really annyoing.
What isaiah40 asked was said to me, there's a pixels party on your golden rings and also you have some things on the map that have no sense to my eyes. (e.g. xml can't be shortened, what the .... is an abbreviation for another one?)

Anyway, we have a system to do things, the system is used for everyone here. When a CA change to sticky a topic, he also makes a call in our private forum, so all other CAs can give final suggestion for that stage.
As said the suggestion come from me, isaiah is only the man who is speaking for everyone in this case.
This is not a last minute change, I don not see graphics stamp on this topic.
So you don't want to change graphics after the stamp is given, you don't want to change graphics before the stamp just for the sake of not changing them (when there're concerns and the graphics are not up to the standard). You rarely listen nolefan because it's new....at this point I'm wondering if you want we all leave our positions and you can rule this place....
Please, draw maps, follow what CAs say....and if there's something you don't like please try to explain to me what you don't like.
But stop to rule this place just because now you don't have exams. Don't make the rules, don't set the timeline or limits, this is not your job here.
In that way you will see CAs will be able to do their job properly instead to have to deal with unplanned things that "steal" time from our normal duties.
If their normal duties are not enough to cover all your maps, probably it's because you should try to draw less maps in the same time...no one is here to steal to you a map project. ;)
The foundry doesn't work on your time.

Sorry for the harsh words, but i think that my Team has enough of this way to act from you.

Where you have the XM for nole, tnb means to have it read XML

Ah...what about GG how do i get gameplay and graphics in there too.
XM was to keep consistency of two letters with the other two letters on the other side.

I think that just having GR for graphics would suffice, as I don't know of any mapmaker that puts game-play on the map unless someone else worked out the game-play.

Firstly well done on the rings, I know what these last minute changes mean to us all, they can be a drag but I am sure you know, they must be done. O:)

Saying that, one last thing from me which I only noticed now with the new rings as it became really apparent. Your lighting source for the map is of. You seem to have many different lighting sources depending on which part of the map I look at. Title is from below, gold rings is face on, frame is right to left. Can I ask for the lighting to come from one direction please. 8-[

No, ....
And besides...this will mean re-doing everything again.
The frame is a bevel process, not done in gold.
The title you previously approved of...is done via a different process than what the rings etc. are done by.


PS. lighting was not one of the effects i was asked to correct in the swipe above.

Sorry cairns, but this is the first chance I have had to come and really look at the map since you did you the rings again. You are right, I did say the title was nice, and I still think it is nice. The rings are also nice, so is the frame. I have no problem with any of these elements of the map individually, it is just when all three come together, he lighting looks off.

the frame is a bevel at 360 degrees...if i change it to 270 degrees the framework looses its 3D dimension on the sides to a very weak 3D dimension at the bottom and top edge only...very poor result. Also i cannot apply the same gold colouration to the frame and then apply the bevel since the bevel does not take on the gold colouring as in the rings.

the ring and image frames have a gold 2 colour 3 range spread plus a slight contour applied to the outer edge. it is too small to have any bevel dimension to it.

the title is created in another process in Corel Paint via a bit map, and yes it is lit from the bottom where it achieves the best effect.

I'm sorry they don't look the same. :)

Refresh your screen, and U will see a very slight inner shadow around the oval of the map to create a slight raised centre image. :)

not arguing for arguing, but what is the small "thing" under Nagornyy in legen? I mean "thing" dirrect under "g". I can not see something similar anywhere.
I like this new version. maybe the impassable gold circle could has a little less light?

Refresh above, the thing was a hang-over from the bevel process...now gone...but i like the gold as it highlights the impassables.
